    “Okay, I’ll give you thatshe would be adorable.  And as a sidekick to Shanewell, one can only imagine the stories our baby will be hearing as they mosey on down the trail

     

    Sheriff Shane and Deputy A – Cowgirls all over the world will rest easy tonight.


     

     

    It was Tuesday afternoon.  Tina had just gotten in from being at the Social Justice Center.  She told Oscar last week that she would like to come in three days a week, preferably Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for four hours each day.  Oscar agreed.  He would be glad to have Tina there for any amount of time she could offer him.  She had proven herself to be an invaluable asset to the Center.

     

    They worked out the time to be ten to two.  This way the mornings weren’t a rush and she could have Angelica home for the afternoon and also be there when Bette got home.  When it came time for her to do full time, she and Bette would find someone to stay with Angelica during the day.  But for right now, this schedule gave them the time to basically stick with the routine they had.  

     

    She got Angelica all settled in her swing.  As she started to walk down the hall to the laundry room, there was knock on glass.   Tina backpedaled and saw it was Susan knocking on the patio doors.

     

    Tina slid the patio door open.

     

    “Hey, Susan.  What’s up?”  Tina didn’t invite her in.

     

    “Well, I had some extra dressing that I wanted to put down so I hope it was all right that I just came in the backyard to do that.  No charge.  I didn’t want it to go to waste.”

     

    “No, of course not.  Thanks so much.  The yard really does look beautiful.”

    “Uh, Tina, could I speak with you for a few moments?”

     

    “Sure.  Why don’t we talk out here.  Would you like some ice tea?”

     

    “That sounds great.”

     

    “Okay, give me a moment and I’ll be right out.”

     

    Susan walked over to the table and sat down to wait for Tina.

    13. godd chappie, I agree with every that Tina should listen to her inner ear as it warn her about Susan. The best bit of news in this chapter is the fact that Helena bought Susan’s house. This is something that Alice should be able to find out and sink her teeth into. Come on Alice, get your nosey behind to snooping!!

    14. McCutcheon Security……..Susan, this is what friends are for!………….. Tina said a silent thank you again for these people who have become her family. They’ve proven over and over again that in some cases – certainly in mine, Tina thought – friendship is so much thicker than blood.

    15. Tina isn’t quick to forget…so why is she ignoring her first instinct of Susan? She’s so naive…her heart’s so big and willing to give everyone the benefit of the doubt — that’s going to hurt her and her family in the long run. I hope she’s playing Susan…I hope she’s wiser than that. ;-) RC…thanks for the DRAMA…lol. Good luck in AC…
