    Love Studio – Chapter Three

    —-

    Saturday – Chez Louis – 7.30 PM

Tina was sitting at a table for two, waiting for Bette. The restaurant they would eat in was very expensive and Tina had insisted on paying even if Bette had asked her out. She knew that the only place where they could get some privacy was very costly and Bette didn’t have the money to pay that. Tina was wearing a blood red dress and natural make up. Her hair was in an up do and a few strings were hanging loose. She was feeling nervous, her fist date with a woman, with Bette.

Her breath caught in her throat when Bette walking into their private room. She was wearing a black power suit with a white shirt. Her high heels were also black but with tiny, little, shining stones on the bands. Her hair was hanging loose and a smile graced her face.

“Hey.” Tina said, her eyes sparkling.

Bette walked past her chair and leaned down, kissing Tina’s lips. “Hi.” She said with a low voice. Tina had never felt happier to see someone. Bette sat across her.

“How are you?” Bette wanted to know.

“I was fine, I’m better now I see you.” Tina tells her. She chuckles.

“I feel the same. You look breathtaking, Tina.” She compliments her date. Tina looks down and back up.

“You look great to.” Tina said.

“Thanks.” Bette beamed. “I’m kind of hungry.” She tells the blonde and takes the menu and Tina does the same. They order dinner and talk about the comments they got about their song. Well, not really their song but their remake.

“I read a lot of good comments but my manager is angry we seemed to sing the song to each other. She thinks its bad publicity.”

“Weren’t we singing it to one another?” Bette asked, sounding flirtatious while eating her salmon. Tina couldn’t help turning red, thinking about the lyrics, and Bette chuckled.

“I’m sorry, go on.” She told Tina.

“When I told her we were actually going on a date, she kind of freaked out. She told me it would ruin my carrier then I told her I didn’t believe that. Look at Ellen? She has an amazing carrier. I also don’t want to lie to my fans although I would like to keep this silent for a while. You know. Figure things out calmly.” Tina said.
