Tina: “Okay”
Tina: “What exactly does that mean?”
Tina: (feeling bad, realizing she probably hurt Bette’s feelings and looking at Bette’s reflection from her rear view mirror) “Ohwell I”
Tina: (stopping at the red light, getting out of her vehicle) “AlI’ll be right back”
Bette is staring at Tina, who is leaving her car and walking towards her car. Before Bette realizes what is happening, Tina is standing beside Bette’s window.
Tina: (knocking on the glass) “I need to talk to you for a minute”
Bette: (puzzled, getting out of the car) “Tinawhat’s wrong?”
Tina: (rambling) “Betteits justwell
Bette: (glaring towards
Tina: (placing her hand on Bette’s waist and pulling Bette into her) “It’s not about Alice, Bette.”
Bette: (looking into Tina’s eyes, confused) “Babyjust tell me what’s wrong?”
Tina: (running her other hand through Bette’s hair) “That’s the thing, Bettenothing is wrongI just realizedit’s all so right.”
With those words, Tina pulled Bette into a deep kiss. Bette was stunned but she responded instantly when she felt Tina’s lips hungrily moving over hers. When she felt the moist tip of Tina’s tongue against her lips, she opened her mouth to allow the entry that Tina desperately desired. Tina ran her tongue along Bette’s bottom lip before she plunged her tongue deep into Bette’s mouth searching, seeking and craving the feel of Bette’s tongue against her own. They were oblivious to the fact that they are standing in the middle of the street practically devouring each other while the
Shane: (staring at Bette and Tina kissing) “Too ***** cute! Daneare you seeing what I’m seeing?”
Dana: (opened mouth) “*****, Shane! Forget the buttered popcornwhere can I find myself a straight chick?”
Tina and Bette were still unaware of the world around them as they held on to one another and continued to kiss passionately. Unlike many of the other kisses they had shared, neither of them even attempted to control what they were feeling. Their mouths open wide, feasting on the taste of each other as their tongues just couldn’t seem to get enough of the feel of the other’s and all the while their hands were roaming everywhere in a frenzy.
Any other exhibit would have caused a chaotic commotion during a busy West Hollywood late night traffic areabut these two, caused people to just stare in awe and become absorbed in their display of love and passion for each other.
Shane: (staring at the two love birds, then looking at Dana) “Ah, so damn sweet!”
Dana: (shaking Shane) “I’m seriouswhere can I find myself a straight chick? Hook me up, Stud!”
Meanwhile in Tina’s car,
Alice: (still believing her eyes deceive her, rolls down the window of Tina’s car and squeezes her body out so that she’s sitting on the door’s ledge, hanging on to the roof) “Woohoo! Now that’s some coming out kiss, Blondie!”
Bette: (reluctantly breaking the kiss, glaring over at
Tina: (turning Bette’s attention back toward her) “Baby”
Bette: (looking deeply into Tina’s eyes) “You kiss me like that and call me baby’what are you trying to do to me, T?”
Tina: (teasing) “Do you not want me to call you ‘baby’?”
Bette: (pulling Tina into a warm embrace) “You can call me baby all the time, T”
Tina: (giving Bette a quick kiss) “Whatever you want, baby.”
Bette: (pulling Tina closer to her and starting to kiss her again) “Mmmmthis is a start”
Shane: (sighing) “God, I love it!”
Dana: (watching the two kiss and then screaming at Shane) “Have you thought of a place to hunt for straight chicks yet?”
Bette: (gritting her teeth together) “I’m going to kill”
Tina: (interrupting her words) “the mood if you lose it now.”
Bette: (laughing) “How do you do that?”
Tina: (caressing Bette’s back) “Do what?”
Bette: (running her hands through Tina’s hair) “Make my heart so full of a happiness I’ve never knownmake all the world disappearmake everything so perfect”
Tina: (becoming breathless by Bette’s touching words) “It must bebecause that’s what you do to me, baby.”
Tina: (laughing and looking around at the traffic around them) “I think we’ve held up traffic long enough”
Bette: (glancing at the backed up cars behind them, then back at Tina) “I’d rather keep kissing you, but I guess we better get going. I will see you at the apartment.”
Tina: (giving Bette one last quick kiss before breaking away and winking at her) “Okayrace you to your place then, Porter!”
Bette: (accepting Tina’s kiss and smiling) “Whatever you say, baby.”
Bette sighed. For the first time, competitive Bette Porter did not care if she won this race or not. All she cared about was that when she reached her apartment, Tina would be there. Tina Kennard. ‘God, this woman makes my heart want to just burst with simultaneous emotions of love and happiness!’
Bette couldn’t believe Tina’s public display of affectionthat she kissed with such passion in front of everyone to see. Bette felt so fortunate to be the recipient of Tina’s sweet kisses. ‘I want those kisses forever,’ Bette thought.
Tina: (starting up her car, glancing at
Tina: (giggling) “Yeahneither can I!”
Tina: (seeing
Tina: (laughing) “Secure that chap stick, will you?”
Bette: (getting into the car, seeing Shane and Dana staring at her with wide eyes) “What’s up with you two?”
Shane: (laughing) “Apparently, nothing as hot as what’s up with you!”
Dana: (tapping Bette’s shoulder) “Hey BetteTina got any friends she could hook me up with?”
Bette: (laughing, happily following Tina’s car) “You can ask her yourself when we get home, Dane!”

Yesssss, I remember this plot. They stop at a stoplight because Alice loses her chapstick. Tina gets out at the redlight, goes back to Bette’s car and kisses her for all of Weho to see.

techgal-This is newwriter/heart (luvin from TWOP) and I assure you that this story was only written and posted as Love’s Calling by heartandsoul. We wrote the story last year and never finished it because of health issues I was having. We stopped with chapter 28. We have decided to revive the story and we didn’t just want to resume with chapter 29 so we decided to delete all the old chapters and repost them one by one so that new readers as well as long time readers had the opportunity to read the old chapters so the story would just flow on.
Loving it.Techgal,I don’t remember this being part of that other stoy.

I love this story!! I loved it the first time i read it. HeartandSoul have revived it (thank god). Only the talents of these two could come up with the chap stick scene or the love that is written between B&T. I am a loyal fan, yesterday, today and tomorrow.

I’ve been asked for my opinions and suggestions for chapters as they were being written. These two writers have poured their “heart and soul” into this series and are doing one heck of a job with it.
