Bette: (smiling down into Tina’s face) “Thank God you quit running away from me.”
Tina: (softly laughing) “Yeah.” (pulling her hand up and gently running her finger across Bette’s cheek and then along Bette’s lower lip) “Look what I would have missed out on if I had kept running.”
Bette: (softly grabbing Tina’s hand to stop her motion of running her finger over her bottom lip before she gently kissed Tina’s fingertip) “What we would have missed out on.”
Tina: (looking deeply into Bette’s eyes) “I love you.”
Bette: “I love you too.”
Bette leaned in and kissed Tina trying to express all the love in her heart for her at that moment before she gently pulled away from her. She gently kissed Tina again before she pulled completely out of her arms.
Bette: “Will you stay right here for a minute?”
Tina: (looking puzzled) “Okay.”
Bette: (giving Tina a quick kiss before heading to the bedroom door) “Don’t run away I’ll be right back.”
Tina: (smiling and softly calling out) “I quit running away, remember. I’m not going anywhere.”
Bette: (coming back to Tina and kisses her soundly before heading back towards the door) “Have I mentioned that I love you? I’ll be right back.”
Tina was waiting for Bette when she walked back into the bedroom carrying a small jewelry box in her hand.
Bette: (placing a gentle kiss on Tina’s lips) “I missed you.”
Tina: (laughing) “You were only gone for a minute.”
Bette: (smiling) “I know but you just told me that you love me a few minutes ago and at the moment I don’t want to be apart from you for a second.”
Tina’s only response to Bette was to pull her in for a gentle lingering kiss.
Bette: (shaking her head as she pulled back from the kiss) “I think I am getting addicted.”
Tina: (puzzled) “Addicted?”
Bette: (softly laughing) “I am getting addicted to you kissing me.” (reaching out to take Tina’s hand in hers and pulling her towards the bed) “Come and sit with me. I want to show you what I have in this box.”
Bette led Tina over to the bed where they sat down side by side. Bette reached over and placed the box that she had been holding in her hand, into Tina’s hands. Tina looked up into Bette’s eyes with a questioning look before Bette began to speak.
Bette: “Open it.”
Tina: (opening the box and seeing a beautiful gold etched heart necklace) “It’s beautiful.”
Bette: (leaning over and taking the box out of Tina’s hands and starting to remove the necklace from the box) “I bought this for you that very first day that I went shopping, the day before I sent the very first gift to you. I know this is going to sound corny but I think I knew even then that I was going to give my heart to you.”
Tina: (leaning in and kissing Bette) “It really is very beautiful. Will you put it on me?”
Bette: (placing it around Tina’s neck and fastening it before she kissed the back of her neck and Tina turned around and faced her) “It’s even more beautiful on you. TinaI want you to know that I have never felt this way about anyone before. I love you.”
Tina: (running her fingers over the heart necklace) “I love it and I love you.”
Bette leaned over and pulled Tina closer to her and began to kiss her. The kiss started out slow and gentle but quickly escalated into a passionate one, as Bette laid Tina back on the bed. They lay there for several minutes having a total make out session before Bette pulled back to catch her breath. Once she caught her breath, she gave Tina one last gentle kiss before reluctantly sitting up and pulling Tina up with her.
Bette: (getting up quickly from the bed to keep from pushing Tina back down on the bed and making love to her) “Uhwe probably should get ready for bed.”
Tina: (picking up on the reason for Bette’s sudden movement) “Bette?”
Bette: “Yes T?”
Tina: (softly) “I’m sorry.”
Bette: (looking down at Tina realizing why she is saying she is sorry so she kneels down in front of Tina) “Don’t be sorry. Baby, I want us to make love but only when you are ready. I promised you could trust me and I meant it.”
Tina: “Maybe I should just go home for the night because”
Bette: (interrupting Tina) “Do you really want to go home?”
Tina: (looking down into Bette’s eyes) “No.”
Bette: (reaching up and gently kissing Tina on the lips before pulling back) “Then stay with mesnuggle into my arms and sleep.”
Tina: (smiling) “I love you, Bette Porter. So, are you going to give me something to sleep in?”
Bette got up and got something for both of them to sleep in. Soon they were both snuggled up in Bette’s bed with Tina lying in the crook of Bette’s arm. It was not long before they were both sound asleep.
While Bette and Tina had been in Bette’s bedroom,
They all had been sleeping a couple of hours when
Bette, Tina and Alice were in for a ***** of a surprise when they woke up the next morning

Oh that’s wrong, making Alice sneak in the bed, and in between them none the less. LMAO! You know she’s wreaking with all the weed and booze smelling, someone is liable to wake up from the odor and kick her out!

No award for posting first necessary. I just usually don’t get to read until late after work and I’m way down on the list of posting comments by then. Good luck on your surgery. I had reconstructive knee surgery in 1991. So, I’ve been there and know how it feels.
he he.. yeah.. i got to this part too… btw, no worries, i wasn’t worried abt you throwing in alcohol and pot in. That duo is notorious up here in vancouver…nothin new for me though i don’t support its use either.

Yes, fairy tales indeed ! But I was teasing you, in fact, because the scene showing our caring Tina surrounded by those three cute, funny and obedient drunks (“Alice, Dana, Shane: (in unison) “Thanks, Tina!” “) just brang the picture of Snow White taking care of the Seven Dwarfs !
Anyway, I always had a BIG weakness for fairy tales that fulfilled my child’s heart of sweetness and beauty… And thanks god, even in “real life” we’re able to dream. When one hasn’t any other choice but imagining what would have been life with all the good old “if only”, dreams and stories are such a comforting thing.
And I’m always so happy to know I made you both smile, since your lovely story has the same great effect on me ! Thanks for that.

Ah Ha, didn’t I say they should lock the door.Bette’s gonna be pissed but not to worry Tina will take care of Bette. Too sweet, but damn Bette seems to have developed the patience of a saint. Good luck with the surgery, and Soul come on be nice and at least give us a nibble.
