    Bette and Tina have had enough of someone…but never enough of one another

    Bette (softly laughing): “Babyseeing you angry like that well let’s just sayplease remind me never to get on your bad sidealthoughyou are kind of ***** when you get angry like that.”

    Tina (laughing): “It takes a lot to make me that angry so unless you do something really drastic like attack someone I love I think you might be safe.”

    Bette (smiling as she mockingly wiped her brow): “Whewglad to know that I am safe.”

    Tina (shaking her head and smiling as she felt her love for this woman burst into heart): “Have I mentioned that I love you?”

    Bette (turning serious and staring straight into Tina’s eyes before she moved in to kiss her): “I love you too.”

    Across the room at the other table Todd was trying to keep up with the work discussion but he really just wanted them to change the subject so he could extract his revenge. The moment he felt a lull in the conversation, he opened his mouth to speak but didn’t get the chance.  One of the other people at the table commented about how happy Tina looked.  Everyone including Todd turned to look across the room where they saw Bette and Tina sharing a tender kiss. Todd closed his eyes for a moment disgusted because he knew now he had no leverage over the two of them.

    Back across the room, the waiter returned with their drinks and interrupted a sweet moment between Bette and Tina to take their order.  They hadn’t had a chance to look over the menus, so they asked the waiter to bring them the two items off the menu that he recommended as being the best they had. Their waiter left their table and was headed to the kitchen but was stopped along the way by the table of Alphaville workers.

    Bette (noticing the waiter at the other table): “I hope we aren’t sorry we just did that.”

    Tina (softly laughing): “Scared of getting served octopus or something?”

    Bette (making a face): “No! Poison is more like it.”

    Tina (surprised at Bette’s words): “Why would you think that?”

    Bette (nodding her head towards Todd): “He stopped our waiter.”
