“NATHAN!” Bette shouted “I WONT SHOUT AGAIN!”

“You just did” Nathan said appearing from his room “What now?”

“Is that room tidy yet?” Bette asked

“Nope because you keep shouting every 3 minutes” Nathan said leaning against the living room door

“Babe will you stop stressing” Tina sighed

“T you know I like to properly tidy the house in the New Year” Bette replied

“The house couldn’t get any tidier if you ask me” Nathan snapped

“We didn’t” Bette replied with her evil glare

“That’s for sure…so can I go finish my room?” Nathan asked

“Yes…go…before you end up grounded” Tina smirked

“That wouldn’t be anything new…even if it is a new year” Nathan said retreating to his room and closing the door.

Nathan looked around his room, he still hadn’t put away most of his Christmas presents.

“Urgh!” Nathan sighed sitting on his bed

Amy walked into Bette and Tina’s.

“SHOES!” Bette shouted causing Amy to jump

“Yeah okay…chill out” Amy said taking her shoes off

“Sorry” Tina mouthed trying not to laugh

“Who rattled your cage?” Amy asked following Bette and Tina into the kitchen

“She’s in a tidy mood due to it being a new year” Tina stated

“Where’s Nathan?”

“In his room” Tina replied

“Probably contemplating immigrating” Amy mumbled “I’ll just go see him”

She knocked on Nathan’s door before letting herself in.

“Hey buddy” Amy said sitting on his bed “You okay?”

“Brilliant” Nathan said sarcastically giving her a thumbs up

“Super” Amy smirked back

“I don’t know where to put flipping anything” Nathan snapped

“Well let’s start by hanging up the wardrobe you have on the floor shall we” Amy smiled taking off her jacket.

“You’re going to help?” Nathan asked

“Course I am…not going to leave you in distress on your own” Amy smiled

“Thanks…so where’s Jacqui?”

“Where do you think” Amy sighed

“Work”

“As always” Amy stated

“Touchy subject” Nathan replied

“No just annoying more like…I mean I know she’s a doctor and stuff but I’m her fiancé and I’ve possibly seen her twice in two weeks” Amy explained
