Alice was more then happy to be out of the cramped quarters of the SUV. Everything was making her feel uncomfortable since Dana had that talk with her. It was becoming more clear each time she thought about it, Dana had to know the truth. And it had to come from her. Alice really did want to come clean with her when they talked, but given Dana’s physical condition… well she didn’t want to jeapardize her health in anyway. The longer it took to talk to her… the worse it was going to get. The talk with Roxy had to wait. If she told Roxy that she didn’t have a chance with her, things could escalate out of control. Roxy professed to care about Dana, but she could very well lash out and tell Dana the truth herself. No matter what Alice did, there would be consequences. Could she really deal with Roxy’s flirtations and advances? What if Dana saw Roxy coming on to her… a big fight would ensue, for sure. That would be the worst case scenerio plus Roxy would tell Dana for sure… she had nothing to lose. Alice, on the other hand stood to lose the most precious thing to her….. Dana’s love.
Dana – Roxy, could you grab a cart?
Roxy – Sure.
Alice – What’s on the list, Dana?
Dana – Just the staples really. We can decide on what we want for meals and get the items that we don’t have.
They stood around the front of the store discussing their ideas. Their tastes differed considerably, but they agreed to try each others food choices.They would take turns cooking versus fending for themselves. Dana pretty much knew what Alice liked and disliked, so that wasn’t a problem for her. At least maybe now she could get her to eat a little more healthy. Alice cooking however, was going to be interesting. Boiling water was more her speed.
They made there way up and down the aisles filling the cart. Dana was noticing the pile up of what she considered junk food. Roxy put in yet another item.
Dana – Whats with all the junk food, Roxy?
Roxy – Hey, I’m not the only one here you know.

Great Update! Roxy was right about them stopping because of her hesitation. How long can Alice hold her off?
So yes, as you said, this chapter had allot of drama and crap in it but I appreciate the bit of hope you give us in the last paragraph. I know that once the truth comes out Dana will be upset with Alice but in the end they’ll be together. I just hate that Roxy keeps toying with Alice- especially when she’s vulnerable. I’m glad Alice is determined to show Dana how much she means to her but Alice needs to tell Dana the truth soon. You have me curious as to what the hell’s up with Lara’s body (or missing body as the case may be)…I’m still waiting for Dana to get better and for the scorching hot sex to be had ;) Great job as usual and thanks for the comment! Can’t wait till the update…
Wow I grovel at your feet, this will be the third time I’ve read this chapter and I can’t not love it. I tried and failed miserably, Alice needs to get her ass in gear and tell Dana, things are only going to get worse and when the shit hits the fan, they better have a good cleaning lady. I loved the shopping scene, and all the bickering, man Alice you have it hard you’ve got Dana Tony Gina and Roxy all dying to be with you the stress must be otherwordly. Meanwhile I can’t get a glance but that’s ok…whatever. Anyway great chapter again (but you don’t need me to tell you that for you to know it’s amazing). Update soon (but I’ll keep on you and make sure it happens) :)

Thank you for your sweet comment. :D You got me worried there… When I didn’t find an update of this story in the last couple of days, I thought you left me! :P As long as you keep writing this wonderful story (I can’t believe it’s the 40th chapter either!), I’ll keep commenting. :D I’m really curious what’s in that clock. Time will tell, I will try to wait patiently… :S A lot of fighting this chapter. The tension (in all of its meaning) is still building up, nice. :)Poor Dana tough (actually poor all of them), I wonder how she will react when she hears the whole truth. Roxy’s plans to win Alice over always seem to backfire on her in the end, don’t they? :D As you probably can guess, Roxy’s plans are working for me, because they get Alice more drawn to Dana. When did Sharon Fairbanks become so nice and supportive? I think it’s sweet that Alice called her out of concern for Dana. And I justed wanted to say that – in my opinion – the doctor can give Dana an OK (on Dana being healed) in the near future. If the doctor doesn’t want to, they can come to me. I mean if that’s the only thing that’s standing in the way of hot Danish love making, I can pretend to have a medical background and give Dana an OK. :P
Here’s my happy ending…The mob starts gunning for Roxy, The FBI kicks her out for misconduct, she now must fend for herself. Shane catches wind of all this Roxy crap and has some of her old street pals rough her up. Soon the mob catches up to Roxy and she is sleepin’ with the fishes. Dana and Alice confess all of their sins and live happily ever after.

Drama, drama, drama…I loved every bit of it. Roxy is a piece of work but she doesn’t seem te be getting closer to Alice as she wants. That’s a good thing though. I think that Dana hates Roxy as much as I do. Loved Kirstens part in it and cannot wait to find out what happened to Lara’s body!! And Sharon to the rescue, who knew! Go Sharon, make your daughter see the light. Hope Alice tells Dana the truth about her and Roxy just to get that over with. Brteyes you had me for 13 pages and I’m counting the days for the next update. Thanks your great!
