Chapter two

Spending time with daddy.

After being usher out of the room. Carlos just sat on the ground and was dumbfounded.

Carlos: ( God please let my wife live, I dont want to lose her, please lord.)

Minutes passed by and all Carlos see was more nurse and doctors rushed in the room that he have been escorted out of. Then it hit Carlos that maybe his wife will never see their lucky baby number 8 again. He sats there dont know what to do as tears stream down his face combine with blood that was from the cuts.

One of the nurse passed by him as Carlos just focus on the door he had come out from , just hoping someone will come out soon and tell him it all ok.

The nurse squated down to his level and gently lifts him up by the arms and slowly guide him to attend to his cuts. While walking away further and further from the door he is staring at , he felt his heart get torn in two because he wanted to be there to help Mercedez but he cant.

While the nurse clean up his cuts and stitched them up , Carlos mind was turning back in time, to the time where he first met Mercedez, to the first time they kiss, to the time of their wedding where he saw Mercedez in a jaw dropping white wedding dress, to just few months ago when they were cuddling in bed.

Carlos mind was like a movie showing him the good times he have with Mercedez.

Nurse : Hello Sir, your ok now .

No respond from Carlos, as if his body is there and his soul is not ,  basically like an empty shell just sitting there.

A next nurse step in and whisper into the ear of the nurse, who has finished attending to Carlos wounds . 

Nurse whisper to the next nurse.

Nurse #1 : Well good news to this gentlement right here because his wife made it. She was in a critical condition but now she is doing well and stable but I dont think he could go see her now. Why dont you show him their new born baby girl.

The nurse walk out finishing her job as to passing on the good news.
