“I guess I’m just curious”
“Yes…” the brunette answered
Silence
“So how was it?” the young Peabody queried still looking at the sky
“Wonderful, scary and painful” the brunette briefly replied
Helena nodded, Bette didn’t elaborate her answer further and she respected that
Bette turned to look at the british woman beside her “What about you Helena? Have you ever been in love?”
The young Peabody sighed, “I don’t know… I guess I haven’t”
Silence
A few minutes after the brit started talking again “I cared for someone so deeply but I ruined her trust and I despised myself for doing that”
By this time, the brunette was already aware that Helena Peabody was a lesbian. The hint of regret on Helena’s voice didn’t go unnoticed “Do you still care for her?” Bette asked
“Yes…”
“Do you want her back?”
Helena took a deep breath “Yes”
“Maybe it’s not too late for the both of you”
“I don’t know… I hope so”
“But if you want to win her back you have to be sure that you just don’t only care for her but you really love her”
“I guess you’re right”
Silence
“Do you know why I said that love is wonderful, scary and painful?” Bette said her eyes staring again up to the sky
“Why?”
“Because when you fall in love, you feel all these insanely great feelings like butterflies in the stomach, heart that’s racing real fast when you see and when you’re with the other person. Scary because when you love someone, suddenly as if you don’t have a full control of your heart anymore because your heart now belongs to the other person…(pause)…In my case I fell in love not only with one person but with two… (pause)… Painful because somewhere along the way I hurt them both because I couldn’t give my all to them…” Bette said as she gazed at the amazing creations of God above
“You mean you fell in love with two people at the same time?” Helena asked incredulously
“Yup”
“How is it possible?”
Bette laughed a little “That is a million dollar question that until now I can’t still find the answer. Sometimes I even ask myself if it was just a form of a cosmic joke that fell upon me”

i don’t really know what are you planning for this story…been waiting long and still no progress on Tina and Bette…i hope you know what you’re doing…i mean we’re dying to know what’s in store for the two of them…are they gonna end up together or what….just saying…hope next time you post, i’ll be happy to read it

Its always so nice to see a new update on this story! Im never a fan of Belena so im glad abt the friendship between Bette and Helena. Its just funny bec 4 me they are unknowingly referring to one person. I agree with teegirl i hope tina’s mom invite Bette and kit on her 70th bday! That wud be fun! Thanks 4 d awesome post hun!

if bette still loves 2 persons then i rather she just stay single. i mean it’s understandable to love 2 persons but not the same way and it’s unfair on both the loves. maybe helena would be a better choice for tina if she could devote her life to tina. or sam.

thanks for the update. I like this story because its so different in that Tina and Bette intuitively know that there is something very strong between them but their hearts have to figure it out so it will take time because their brains keep interfering with that. I know that it will happen when the timing is right so I will be patient. Awesome story.
