    Mercy Mercy Baby …1

“Wait a minute… please let’s not do this again.” pulling Vanessa back into her arms “Are you busy later… I’m taking her to the beach with Alice and Shane this afternoon… you could join us.” Leaning in she plants several kisses on her neck and whispers into her ear “ Nessa, baby you know I’d love to see you later”

Chills run through Vanessa… she takes a big breath “Ok I’ll try to join you besides I would like to get to know your friends.”

Bette responds with a mega watt smile “Great than I’ll see you later today.”

Back in the house Tina has Angie settled on her blanket with all her toys.  Thinking it has been at least four months since she had set foot in their house.  Henry had been the one who dropped Angie off for her visits with Bette.  Everything looked the same except for the missing art Bette had to sell to regain her financial stability and of course all the pictures of the two of them.  Somehow it seemed so haunting to be sitting in a home that they once shared.  Trying not to get emotional, Tina began to play with Angie while waiting for Bette.

Bette takes a seat on the couch and speaks to Angie “How is my baby girl” giving her a kiss on the head… and ruffling her dark curly hair.

“Bette, I’m very sorry I interrupted” Tina apologizes again.

“Tina, it was not a problem let’s just drop it Ok” Bette replied in an annoying tone.

Tina sitting on Angie’s blanket nervously fidgeting with one of the toys, “Bette do you have a minute to talk?”

Taking a breath “Sure can I get you some coffee or tea” Bette offers Tina

    “Water would be great”

Returning from the kitchen with two bottles of water and a baby bottle of juice for Angie.

“So, what’s up” Bette asks as she takes a seat on the couch.

Taking a sip of water Tina regains her courage “Bette… I feel so left out.” She looks away “I miss all my friends so much.”

Bette leans back into the sofa crossing her arms “Tina you need to realize any involvement with your old friends and I take it you mean Kit, Al, Dane and Shane, you are going to have to orchestrate.   They are not going to drive into the valley and interrupt your life with Henry.”

    1. Good start…Is Tina looking for friendship or is she looking for more? If she is looking for more then the 1st step would be to leave Henry. The 2nd step would be to repair the friendship with the others. Bette might notice the changes and maybe something will start from there…unless Vanessa will fight for her woman. Keep posting.

    2. I’m with the others. I want T&B back together. Vanessa sounds interesting, but something tells me she just a distraction for Bette. I also agree that before anything can happen Tina needs to leave Henry and make amends with the gang.

    3. Great start but Tibette has my heart. Hopefully Tina will drop kick Henry and return to her friends and then see what that leads to. (Hopefully into Bette’s life again).
