    I have changed the title a bit but it is the follow up from “Merry Christmas,Bette”, but Christams is long over so my title needs ajusting.Where will Bette be at New Year?

    When the taxi had left, Bette came back inside and apologized to the girls “ I just go and finish up my work,okay? It won’t take long and then we can go, okay?” “ Sure, no problem, you take your time, we’ll wait.” Alice replied for the group, thinking that Bette wanted a moment alone to let the goodbye sink in.
    But back in the bedroom, Bette quickly opened her laptop and waited for the screen to come up again. Then she positioned herself so that if anybody might enter could not see her screen. She clicked on the link and a card was opened, she saw the message and it brought a small smile on her face. She wanted to reply immediately but her common sense told her not to, so she closed her screen, got up and went out of the bedroom. “Let’s go girls, let’s kick some ass on the slopes.” She said cheerfully. “Yeah, let’s go.” The reply came from the couch.

     

     

    When they were safely seated in the lift, which was not easy as Alice was a bit clumsy getting in it, but they made it. Bette made sure there poles wouldn’t fall down, so Alice could relax for the rest of the ride. Bette knew the ride would soon be over, so she needed to act quick. She took her hood off “ Al, I need to have a word with you, alone.” She said as she turned her face to Alice showing she was serious. “ Oh okay, here?” Alice replied looking around and down to the snowy slopes. “No Al, not here. But this afternoon if possible. I need to tell you something, something I don’t want to tell the others. But Helena is there all the time, I don’t know how we can get rid of her.” Bette said with some annoyance in her voice. “ Okay, okay, I will try to think of something. You seem a bit desperate to me.” “ No, I am not desperate, I am just in big need to share this with somebody and you are the best of the bunch.” “ Oh well, that is nice to hear.” Alice said a bit jokily. She had looked at her friends face and knew Bette was serious, she became curious now. She liked to know all the things around her, she was a journalist, it was part of her life. It was also part of her life to find her way around things, so she figured out a way for her and Bette to be alone.

    4. Way to go Alice. So Bette can’t get Tina out of her head and heart, and of course that goes for Tina not able to rid her brain of thoughts of Bette. Can’t wait to read what happens next. Are you still going to finish the other story? Hope your new plans work well for you.

    11. Hey B-Gal, Great to have you back on the board and posting more of this intriguing dtory. I just love a Bette and Tina reuniting tale. I was upset that Tina had said no to Bette but thank the heavens and stars for Alice. This time she was worth her wait in gold as she discovered the truth about Tina’s instant refusal and then sorted out Bette to go and look after her woman. Fabulous and fantastic. Am loving it.
