Previously :

"You seem to get along with her great." Catherine said.

"Yeah we are great friends. I would even say that we are best friends." Bette said.

"So when are you going to tell her?" Catherine asked.

Bette walked into the Planet.

"Mommy." Jess said running over to her.

"What is it sweetie?" Bette asked.

"Al said I couldn’t go to the Ms. Catherine’s opening." Jess said.

"She’s right honey you are going to be in New York with Daddy." Bette said.

"But I wanted to go." Jess complained. She gave Bette the puppy dog face.

"I’m sorry honey but you have to visit daddy. He misses you and hasn’t seen you in a long time." Bette said. She knew Jess didn’t really care about going to New York. In fact she was sure that she would rather stay here.

"Why can’t daddy come see me here?" Jess asked.

"Because honey he has to work. I think he going to take you to his opening at the gallery in New York." Bette said.

"I don’t care I want to stay here." Jess argued.

"I sorry honey but it is out of my control. You will have with Daddy. I bet you any thing he will take you to the toy store." Bette said knowing that this would change Jess’s mind about going to New York.

"I guess so. I could use some more Legos for my castle." Jess said. Marina walked up to them.

"Here Jess. I got you a new coloring book. Why don’t you go color." She said.

"Okay thanks." Jess said and took it from her and went and sat down.

"Thanks Marina." Bette said.

"Its no problem. Those two have been going at it off and on since they got here its amusing to watch. Alice will do something to Jess and then everything will settle and then Jess will do something to Alice. Its an endless circle, but its amusing." Marina said.

Bette looked to the table where Alice, Dana, Shane, Hope, and Joy were sitting. Jess was sitting across from Alice. They were both sticking there tongues out at each other. Shane was smiling at them. Hope stopped them and guided Jess’s attention back towards the coloring book. Jess sat on her knees in the chair to give her more leverage.
