“Excuse me?” Tina chuckled as she played with a few strand of Meghan’s hair.
“Yeah, I was looking it up on the internet and I think I know what I’m doing now” Bette said with a shrug as she tucked the concert tickets into her back pocket.
“You researched it?” Tina stood there shocked, her mouth open slightly.
“Well…yeah” Bette said beginning to blush as she rubbed the back of her neck with her hand.
“That’s so sweet” Tina smiled.
“Yeah, well it’s the least I could do. I brought some stuff with me if you want me to have another look” Bette said holding up a small plastic bag.
“Wait hang on!” Meghan said untangling herself from Tina’s arm and standing between the two ladies. “She’s fixing your toilet!?” she said pointing towards Bette and looking at Tina.
“Well I’m attempting” Bette said with a shrug and a wink at Tina.
Tina could merely blush as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
Meghan swung her head towards Bette her mouth wide open in utter disbelief. “You’re fixing our toilet!?” Meghan repeated. “I mean…I mean…”
“Right this way Bette” Tina interrupted the rambling child while holding the door open for Bette.
Bette walked around Meghan, giving her shoulder a pat, before ducking back into the dental office.
Tina merely rolled her eyes at Meghan who stood there shaking her head before following Bette inside.
“You know you really didn’t have to worry about this” Tina said following Bette into the bathroom.
“Oh no worries really. It’s the least I could do” Bette said placing her bag down on the sink. “I think all we need to do is replace this thingy” Bette said lifting up the top to the toilet. “Do you happen to have a wrench at all?”
“Yeah, um…I have a tool kit in the other room, let me go get it” Tina said with a smile as she turned and walked out of the room.
Just then Meghan came back inside and into the bathroom “Oh my gosh!! Bette Porter is touching my toilet!”
Bette stood up from the toilet and turned to smile at Meghan “It’s just Bette, just call me Bette” she smiled.

It’s good that Tina likes Bette for who she is and not what she does. I am guessing that Alice is the mom of the adorible 12 year old who just loves bette’ music, so maybe she will be a little m,ore selective about what she writes about the band when she finds out Tina loves oops I mean likes Bette. Back stage passes yea meet the band, got cosy, learn a little bit about each other. Can’t wait for the next chapter.
Meghan’s reaction reminds me of how I WASN’T star-struck as a child. Now, however…well, at least I’m not as bad as people who go completely bonkers. PPS! xD

On second thought, if you can learn American Sign Language (in a few hours) fom the internet, you can probably learn plumbing too. LOL !!

Meghan is such a teenager, but so sweet… Hmmm, so Tina didn’t get that Bette would be on stage… Interesting… That end with Alice was priceless, I can totally picture her going frantic about whatever… Please more soon. Aw, come on they gotta go. Love the niece. Wait till Meghan tells Alice that Bette Porter was there and gave them concert tickets.
I hope that Megan can talk Tina into going to the concert. It should be very interesting especially when Alice realizes that Tina has tickets to the concert.

Still think its hilarious that Tina doesn’t “get” who Bette is yet.. however, I think that is for the best. She likes her because she is sweet and funny.. ohh and lets hope she doesn’t forget how hot Bette is. But its definitely not because Bette is some big star. Can’t wait for more. PPS.
