    Author Notes:

    Alice holds a party, Tina takes a date. Alice recieves something in the mail.

     

    Jenny watched with fascination as Tina got up and walked back to the table where Shane was sat. I have a date?  She sighed audibly and smiled a happy, satisfied smile.

     

     

     

    Bette stepped back from the table to admire the array of drinks and snack foods she’d set out, just as Alice appeared from the bedroom.

     

    “You done Al?” Bette asked after kissing Alice on the cheek. “Guests should be here any second.”

     

    As if on cue, a knock at the door grabbed their attention.

     

    Bette kissed Alice on the mouth before walking down the hallway to answer the door.

     

    Shane was the first to arrive, and much to Alice’s surprise she didn’t have a date, she said hello to them both quickly before slumping down in a chair and waiting for Tina and her guest.

     

    “Is Tina bringing a date?” Alice giggled.

     

    Bette looked up at Shane, also wanting to the know the answer, when Shane nodded, she felt her heart drop ever so slightly.

     

    “Oh my goodness, is it Helena?”

     

    Shane narrowed her eyes at Alice, “When has there ever been a thing between those two? They’re like best friends Al.”

     

    Bette sat down beside Shane, “Tina and Helena?” She asked in disbelief, “They don’t seem the type to be best friends.”

     

    “Oh they hated each other a couple of years ago but once Helena got cut off, we saw a nicer side to her,” Shane explained.

     

    Her jaw dropped, “Helena Peabody got cut off?”

     

    “Yup, she has no money. She actually has to work.”

     

    Shane looked at Alice and chuckled, remembering the time that her mother announced to Helena that she was going to be receiving no more money.

     

    Before they could get deeper into the conversation, there was another knock at the door. Bette didn’t give Alice or Shane a chance to answer the door; she hopped to her feet and rushed down the hallway.

     

    When she opened the door, her face dropped as a beautiful, dark-haired woman stepped into view. She was wearing a black strappy dress that reaches to the middle of her thigh and her hair was cascading down her back, framing her face with curls.

    2. I think this story shows real promise. I think Shane came alone so she can escourt a sad Jenny home when Bette and Tina hook up after Alice makes a fool of herself in her inebriated state.

    5. Just found your story and I love it! “Oh dear” is right. As Rau said, I feel a cat fight in the air… you just need to throw Helena in the mix. Love the Bette and Tina sexual tension.

    12. Yeah, Dana is back, and Bette and Tina are already into each other. Love how Bette is jealous about Tina bringing Jenny. Then its kinda like Tina getting pissed cos Bette has no right since she’s with Alice. Also, its very interesting the way you’ve kinda mixed this up.
