“I just wish I knew what she’s been doing since noon today. I’m a bit worried.” Tina tried the worried spouse routine. Alice placed her hand over Tina’s that were lying on the table.

“Honey, honest I have no clue what that wife of yours has been doing or has planned.” Alice stated sympathetically. Tina yanked her hands away with a growl.

“FINE!”

The blonde the got up and began pacing around the dining room. Alice suddenly heard a car and then suddenly a knock at the door. Tina angrily stomped off towards it, yanking the door open. Alice cringed at what the person on the other side might be in for when both Tina and Alice were met with the sight of Bette in a white pant suit that complimented her mocha skin. She was carrying a dozen roses and a smile that would have melted the iceberg that took out the titanic. Both Alice and Tina gasped at the lovely sight of Bette and it took all of Tina’s practiced self control not to throw her wife on the floor right there and have her way with her.

“Hey there Beautiful. Would you care to join me for dinner? Alice and Shane have agreed to watch the kids while we’re out.” Bette spoke in a soft enticing tone. Tina nodded her head once and with her mouth slightly open started walking out the door. Bette smiled over at Alice and winked before she followed Tina out the door. Alice slumped down on the couch and stared at the off TV. Shane came back in and saw Alice staring and sat down next to her friend.

“Where’s Tina?”

Alice pointed and then dropped her arm back down. Shane lifted an eyebrow and motioned to Alice to continue.

“Bette picked her up, looking hot.” Alice suddenly turned to Shane and stared at her. “I didn’t notice how much weight Bette had lost until she walked in here, looking like she just step on a catwalk.” Alice blinked and turned back to staring at the off TV. Shane just looked at her friend.

“Why are you so surprised, I mean Bette always had a great body. I mean Christ you used to sleep with her!” Shane stated somewhat surprised at Alice’s reaction. Alice turned back Shane.

“I don’t think they’re coming back tonight.” Alice frowned. She hoped all would go well with the kids. At the moment, the door flew open and Angelica came running in yelling at the top of her lungs.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!”

Both Shane and Alice jumped at sudden noise, as did Christian who was rudely woken up by his loud sister. He alerted everyone he was up with a nice healthy yell.

“WWWWWWWWAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Both Shane and Alice looked at one another with wide eyes.

“Oh Shit!” They said in unison.

“ss’it!” Angelica repeated. Kit who just got through the door heard her niece’s new vocabulary word. She glared at Alice and Shane.

“You both are going to be in for it when Bette and Tina hear that you taught her a new swear word!”
