Tina: “right… yes this is me; just call me Tina (biting her low lip)”

Silence.

Bette: “Fine, are you coming to the reception? If you want we could go together”

Tina feels unease but the older girl captivates her.

Tina: “Sure, just give me a minute”

Tina enters one of the bathroom stalls again, breath deep and chanting in her brain ‘calm down it’s gonna be all right ’.

Bette is refreshing her blushed face ‘behave Bette or she will run in the opposite direction’.

After two minutes, they both leave the restroom heading to the Ballroom S-101, without noticing that someone has seen them when they met at the bathroom’s door. Louise Rossi saw her daughter entering the building and decided to follow her, but when she was inside she saw Bette also coming in and checking the student’s pictures in her holotab; for reasons she couldn’t explain Louise chose to stay out on view and observe what would happen. She perceived every thing and when the young girls left she remained there considering the so far events ‘hum… this is interesting, very interesting, I’ll see how this go on’

New Pasadena, 10:10 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2056. Path between Biochemistry building and the SAC (ballroom S-101)

Bette: “So…, where are you from Tina?”

Tina: (looking down) “I live here in New Pasadena”

Bette turns slightly, looking at Tina’s face and down to the girl cleavage; Tina senses the staring and raises her head toward Bette, catching her moving her face away.

Bette: (looking in her holotab the list of new students in her group) “good, so don’t have to travel much”

Tina: “may I see your list?”

Bette: “Do you want to check if you girlfriend is in our group?”

Tina: “what makes you think I am into girls?”

Bette: (softly grinning and thinking ‘I guess you know nothing about gaydar’) “Ok, is the person you are looking for there?” ask Bette passing the cube that controls her holotab to Tina.

Tina: (checking the list) “Persons…”

Bette: (rolling her eyes) “hum…I see, so cocky”

Tina: (smirking) “ahem… no, in deed I am very modest, I’m just looking for my friends”
