Bette who was in the process of taking off her seatbelt stopped what she was doing and said, "anything."
"That wasn’t your first time?" Tina said in confusion. "You didn’t, you know…bleed."
Bette gulped, "well, when I was a child I was raped. He was this random guy and I was only seven years old. I didn’t understand what happened I just knew it hurt."
Tina’s eyes watered, "God, I’m sorry I didn’t know."
"No it’s okay, it was a long time ago, I barely even remember it," Bette said, "I just remember the pain."
"D-did he go to jail?" Tina said.
"I don’t know," Bette said, "I just know Shane got very protective of me after that. She studied martial arts and went with me everywhere."
"S-shane?" Tina repeated her eyes wide.
"Yes, my dad adopted her when she was young, he was friends with her parents who died," Bette said, "she’s basically my sister."
Tina’s eyes widened.
"T, are you okay? You look terrified," Bette said.
Tina’s breathing picked up and tears spilled from her eyes. She wanted to spill everything just tell Bette the whole truth but after what she just revealed to her she knew it would devastate her and she couldn’t bring herself to do it. She just couldn’t.
"Tina?" Bette said worriedly.
"W-why did you let me be with you? I mean I was your real first time, why did you choose me?" Tina said.
Bette sighed, "I admit it’s hard to let people in after so much pain, but with you it was an easy choice. I trust you so completely, I just…I love you."
Tina’s breath hitched.
Bette smiled and opened the car door, "don’t say anything you don’t mean."
"Wait!" Tina cried.
"Goodnight T," Bette said kissing Tina’s cheek and walking out of the car. She walked into the house leaving Tina alone.
"Bette!" Shane cried the moment she walked into the house.
"Shane, what’s wrong?" Bette said closing the door behind her.
"Where were you? I was calling you!" Shane said worriedly.
"Oh my phone’s off, is everything alright?" Bette said.
"Please don’t tell me you were with Tina," Shane said.

Helena had that mini-beatdown coming. Tina had better fess up. Bette at least thinks that Tina loves her, but when she learns the truth about everything, love might take a back seat. Then again, Shane’s angry enough to wreak enough havoc for everyone. We’ll see, eh? Thanks for the post. :)

Oh great ..now you realize that Tina?.. …You’re not better then Helena. So Bette knows,think she should do first make herself look good, gorgeous even. Just to make them see is not all about Appearance and Society’s standard. Is all about how to leave a “mark” in this world.. whether you’re good looking or not.
So glad Tina decked helena’s behind, she so deserved it. Now I hope she can make Bette understand so that Bette won’t run and Shane won’t ruin the business. Great update. Thanks.
