My Reality (5)
"Alright here’s the plan," Tina said handing Bette the folder across the little desk in her cramped closet-office. "This is the roadmap for where I wanna take this company and what quota we have to reach each month."
"I’ve already studied it Ms. Kennard," Bette said, "Ms. Peabody gave me a copy."
"You don’t need me to explain?" Tina said.
"No ma’am," Bette said smiling, "and in fact for the first month, with what you have so far you are behind on your quota by 200 hundred."
Tina blinked in surprise, "what? I can’t have missed that."
Bette opened the file folder and showed her a page, then pulled out one of the current files, "an EcoFashion store in San Francisco closed down for renovation and it’s a large selling location. That means we have to up the advertising to make up for it with just the other stores."
"How much does each store have to make extra to pick up the loss?" Tina said grabbing a calculator.
"1.35," Bette said.
Tina’s eyes widened, "h-how did you do that so fast?"
"Simple division ma’am," Bette said.
Tina was just astonished. She shook her head and handed Bette her little black book. "Next order of business, my agenda. This book is your responsibility and only your responsibility, no one can ever see or know what’s inside this book."
Bette opened the book and started looking through it. "There’s only pictures of women and phone numbers."
"Exactly," Tina said smirking, "these are my booty calls."
Bette blinked in surprise, "but aren’t you engaged to Ms. Schecter?"
"Don’t ask questions just do what I say," Tina said.
"Yes ma’am."
"All these women have your number and they will call when they come into town or wanna see me," Tina said. "Your job is simple, put them into my schedule, make sure I have two hours for each, and then disguise it with business stuff so that if Jenny hacks it she’ll be clueless."
"Uhh okay," Bette said.
"Do you have a problem with that Bette?"
"No, I just…I didn’t know datemaker was on my job description," Bette said.
"Don’t think of it that way," Tina said, "just think of them as business meetings."
Bette nodded trying not to look disappointed.

Demure Bette, and Tina being a player and ‘engaged to Ms. Schecter?’ makes my head spin – you’ve certainly let these characters try on new roles :-)
Damn Tina is such a player and poor Bette and hope you gonna fix that soon. Please post more, thanks!
It’s kinda sad that Tina is such a play girl! I mean it’s brilliant for the story don’t get me wrong but still sad because it kinda shatters Bette’s hopes but I kno u’ll pull something great out of ur hat like always! Thanks for the update can’t wait for more!
Great update. thank you.
Tina just might getbitten in the bum with her player ways. Alice is always so nosey and in everyone’s business so much that I can’t believe she hasn’t suggested a total and complete makeover for both Bette and Shane.
I totally enjoy this story. I’m a little familiar with this story and you’re doing great. I like that you made Tina as the player rather than Bette. It’s kinda refreshing and the humor is fantastic. Hope you’ll update soon.
Thank you for the update. There is always hope.PPS
I’m so loving this. I agree, I like seeing Tina as the player this time around. Its so different and the story is great !
