Alex: You have to be kidding me.
Alice: This is going to be a traumatic 2 days. I can feel it.
Daphne: Tina, this is a joke right?
Tina: what did you all expect? The Ritz? We’re campingsorta.
Bette: Yeah, let’s all be grateful we aren’t sleeping in tents.
Tina walked around to the front of the group.
Tina: The cabins are this way, follow me.
She stopped in front of a row of 3 cabins.
Tina: The first one is Bette’s. The second is for me, Alice and Alex. And last but of course not least, Daphne and Melanie. Now each cabin has two bedrooms equipped with bunk beds.
Alex: How about indoor plumbing?
Tina rolled her eyes.
Tina: Of course they do.
Daphne: excuse me, I don’t mean to be a *****, but why does Bette have her own cabin?
Tina: Because Bette..
Bette cut in.
Bette: Because I’m special and you’re not.
Daphne: Oh, well, yeah that seems fair.
Tina: Ok, everyone just calm down. Let’s all go inside, get our selves situated and then we’ll meet up out here in one hour.
Alex took a hold of Alice’s hand and walked toward their cabin.
Alex: If I’m gonna die in here, you’re coming with me!
Tina rolled her eyes and watched as Daphne and Melanie entered the last cabin on the end.
Bette: Ok, well, I’ll see you in an hour.
Tina: Right.
Bette gave Tina a smile and entered her cabin. She closed the door and surveyed the place. It was cold and dark. She made her way back to the first bedroom. It had been at least 5 years since she slept in a twin sized and the thought was frightening. Bette jumped at the sound of a floorboard creaking.
Bette: Who’s there?
Tina: It me.
Bette: Oh. You scared the ***** out of me.
Tina walked briskly to Bette, their eyes never losing focus.
Tina: I just had a question…
Bette: OK…
Tina: Can I see your underwear?
Bette blushed at Tina’s aggressiveness.

damn, damn, damn the drama! I was just getting into Bette and Tina being happy and SEXUAL again….and well….I can’t say I didn’t know SOMETHING like this was coming. Back aboard the roller coaster by flair!

oh lord. i shoulda known when those two started kissing that someone was going to drop dead somewhere. figuratively speaking of course. or actually, couldn’t sara drop dead? i mean, i know she’s gorgeous and all, and preternaturally sympathetic to ex-girlfriends of current girlfriends, but if she’s going to be the tree falling in the forest when the girls are making out… And gorgeous or not, she really needs to eat more than once a day so she doesn’t pass out at rehearsal and require guilty bette to run to her side without even knowing whether she’s nothing more than dehydrated. that’s my vote btw: dehydration. i’ve passed out that way myself and it’s all very dramatic. though no exes came to the ER…wah.

Firstly, this was so much more than just a PG-13…I’d say at least a G rating.
WOW. One thing for certain is that Bette HAS to go to Miami. I love BnT more than I love BnS but Sara was too good to Bette for B to cast a blind eye now. Like it or not Bette had a relationship with this chic and she can’t just ignore or switch off her feelings for her b/c they’re no longer together. She possibly does love her but not necessarily in the blinding, humbling, uplifting and soul energizing way that she does Tina.
You’re the writer and this is your story. Do what is required. I’ve trusted you so far and I haven’t lost faith. Sara is a good person. And after all, she did send Bette back to Tina…she’s not going to let Bette stay with her out of obligation or worse, pity.
Oh for cryin’ out loud!!!…Fit me into that Hummer now!

damn, that was really good! obviously I’m not saying I like the idea of Bette going back but this drama in your story is much better than in most shows I’ve ever watched. All this happened because of techgal’s comment in the last chapter:

As far as Sara being in the hospital, we have got to understand that the breakup was very recent and its not like they ended as enemies. Sara knew what she was doing and accepted why she needed to walk away. Bette is not a heartless person so its a natural reaction for her to want to be there for Sara.
Another great chapter Flair; and although B & T were leaning towards having sex, I didnt think it was going to happen with the rating!

The moment thing starts lloking up. A dark cloud comes and a big rain storm. and Bette and Tina is in the big middle of it. Thanks
oooooooo this is super tense. i can’t decide if phones should be called lifesavers or moodkillers. i wonder what’s going on with sara? she just collapsed?? maybe she was working too hard and she’ll tell bette she’s fine and to go back to her crackshack. i know i always look for the easy way out which in a story as great as this, would never happen.
but let me just say i was laughing my ass off before the phone call. alice comes in screaming like she just saw the boogeyman in the flesh and instead cries out “bugs! 3 of ’em”. i guess in shackville one should soda be expecting bugs.
another great chapter leaving so many dramatic possibilities. and alex has been scarred yet again. poor guy is gonna need a therapist. alright as much as it saddens me, i won’t be able to read or comment on your masterpiece for a week!!! early tomorrow morning i’m leaving on a trip to wisconsin. bit of a friend road trip that should be good fun. we’re gonna be stopping along the way in minneapolis and a few other places. my pals are nuts which should make this really entertaining and fun. i’m most definitely gonna bring my video camera. so if u can plz post again today, that way i won’t be left with this cliffhanger for a week! I’ve got a few comments:
1) I dunno which is funnier, Alex or the comments people post. Alex definitely has the edge but damn these posts are funny!
2) I was actually surprised by how quickly T&B (do people ever say T&B? I usually see B&T…or wait that’s bc I am thinking of Bridge & Tunnel — HA!) made the move to get down with the get down. It seemed kinda soon…but then again they haven’t been together in years so it makes sense.
3) Oh, the drama. I love it. I have displaced my soap opera tendencies with following fanfic serials, with yours leading the Days-Of-Our-Lives-Rollercoaster-Alternate Reality-Actually You Are On An Island And Not Salem-Dramedy pack.
4) Post on. How can life get in your way? Fanfic is life. Ok, now I just need drugs…help!

I’ve really tried to restrain myself…but the more I think about it, the more PO’d I get about it.
I’ve reneged. I’m handing Tina my copy of Vanilla Fudge’s “You Keep Me Hanging On.” And I gotta believe shes’s listening to it. As much as I love Bette, she’s bein’ a total be-otch. She’s the one that called it off in the first place with a phone call…just because she found a note that she didn’t truly understand in the pocket of her jeans,that weren’t even her jeans in the first place.
