Chapter 38: Let me be proud and say, “My love, my own.” (Bette continues unwrapping her special present)

(Previously) Finally, everybody felt exhausted and went to their bedrooms for the night. When Tina finished her preparations for bed, she found Bette lying on top of the covers in a robe and looking at the pendant that Tina had given her for her birthday. It was a beautiful locket in the shape of the unicorn with a little opening in the center where Tina placed their picture.

It had been taken a couple of weeks ago. Bette was holding Tina from behind with her arms around the blonde’s waist and her face pressed into her lover’s blond tresses. They were sitting on the grass in their backyard, smiling happily. Tina also framed a larger copy of that photo that she put on top of the dresser.

“This is so beautiful, Tee,” Bette said softly, not taking her eyes away from the pendant and caressing it with her fingers. “This way you stay with me always, even if we’re not together in the flesh.”

“I hope it will never come to that,” Tina said, crawling across the bed and snuggling close to Bette. “Are you ready to unwrap your other present, baby?”

“I’ve been ready since this morning,” Bette replied, pushing Tina on her back and moving on top of her. She began kissing her slowly, “I’m so ready for you, baby. Let’s get the real birthday party started.”

Year: Dec. 19, 2005 – Monday night (cont.)

“Baby, I want you to make love to me, this is all I have been thinking about all day long,” Tina uttered breathlessly when Bette began sucking on her neck.

“Really?” Bette smiled and licked Tina’s tender skin above her collar-bone. She was working her way back and forth from her collarbone up to Tina’s earlobe, savoring the sweet and intoxicating taste of her birthday present.

“I need you so bad,” Tina whispered, moaning at the sensation that Bette’s wet tongue was creating in her. Bette was silent and continued licking and sucking gently on Tina’s neck, while she moved her hands inside Tina’s robe and began slowly caressing her lover’s breasts.
