Alice had moved the television from the living room into her bedroom so Dana could watch tv when Alice was gone. Alice came back in the room with a bag and the brown envelope that Tina had handed her.

Alice said shyly, ummmdo you want to get changed or you want me to unpack your stuff? Oh and T said these were the things that were yours from the accident, You want me to take the stuff out for ya?

Dana nodded not realizing what was in there. Alice stood next to Dana and took out Danas ID from the tour, her wallet, and her necklace. When Alice saw what the necklace had on it she gasped and put her hand over her mouth, but Dana heard it and took her eyes off of the tv to look at what happened. When she saw what Alice was holding she quickly tried to get up but hurt her leg in the process and screamed from the pain. Alice dropped the necklace and climbed on the bed to help Dana lay back down properly.

Dana said still breathing heavily from the pain, Alice, I just wanted you to know that I am truly sorry.

Alice heard the sincerity in her voice but couldnt but still feel upset, I know you are, but what are you still doing with this?

Dana looked deep into Alices eyes, Im in love with you Al, I know I fucked up but I always thought that someday we would get back together because I know were meant to be together. Alice, I love you.

Dana was hopeful and wanted so badly for Alice to take her into her arms and kiss her like she used to but she saw the pained look in her eyes and knew that nothing would happen, Dana, I know youre sorry, and weve moved on from there, youre my best friend Dane, Im sorry I let a year go by, but I do love you. Im just not ready to be with you the way we used to be.

Dana was disappointed but knew she owed Alice that much and if not a lot more, I can wait Al, and thanks for taking care of me.

Alice leaned down and gave Dana a small kiss on the forehead, Mark should be here soon with some dinner, you need to eat before you take some of your pills.

Dana felt herself growing a bit jealous, but fought back, Ohso whos Mark?

Alice started to put some of Danas stuff away, You know Mark, Jenny and Shanes roommatewere sorta dating.
