Alice pulled over Shane’s house and went inside, she went inside the kitchen and saw the ingredients on the table.

Alice: Okay then, let’s cook.

Dana pulled over but didn’t notice Alice’s car because she was till in deep thought. She unlocked the door and went inside the kitchen, she stopped and froze at the sight of that Alice was just standing meters away from her. Alice didn’t realised who it was.

Alice: (back still turned) Oh Shane, I’m glad your back so soon…I am making muffins..and- (turning around)

Alice stared at Dana, Dana stared back..

Alice: Dana?

Dana: Alice?

Alice and Dana know what was going on but wanted to stay.

Alice: Why are you here?

Dana: I’m uuh suppose to help you cook…if you don’t mind.

Alice: Um yes I mean no I mean okay sure..I need some help.

Dana: Okay..

Dana’s chopping vegetables and Alice is mixing a batter. There was silence all you could hear was the knife chopping on the board and the cars that pass by outside.

Dana: I never meant to say that to you. I’m sorry.

Alice: No it’s alright, I’m sorry too.

Dana: I understand you need more space..I should’ve given it to you.

Alice: Mm hmm.

Silence…

Alice: (smirks)

Dana: (smiling) What?

Alice: (smiling) Nothing, I just remembered something.

Dana: (smiling)

Alice got a spoon and took a big scoop of the batter, she looked at Dana and then the spoon.

Alice: Dana.

Dana: (turning around) Yeah.

Just then Alice flicked the spoon and the batter landed on Dana’s face right on the nose.

Alice: (laughing) Bullseye!

Dana eyes closed, wiped the batter off her face.

Alice: (licking the spoon) Sorry I couldn’t help it.

Dana: (turning around) It’s alright.

Alice turned back around mixing. Dana grabbed an egg and threw it at Alice hitting it on her hair.

Dana: (sarcastically) Oops, it slipped.

Alice: EW!

Alice threw some more batter at Dana, Dana threw the vegetables. Alice squirted tomato sauce, Dana threw eggs at her. They were actually having fun with eachother. They both missed that feeling, they both missed eachother.

The floor, the tables, the chairs, the whole kitchen was covered with…all kinds of food. Dana and Alice was sliding on the floor and slipped. Her and Dana laughed.

Alice: (laughing) Your turn.

Dana slid across the floor to Alice. Alice held on to her so she wouldn’t slip. They looked at eachother.

Alice: We…should clean up.

Dana: Yeah, we should..

Alice started walking, Dana following. Alice suddenly lost her balance and slipped.

Alice: Oh *****!

Before she touched the floor, Dana tried to hold on to her but fell with her. Dana landed on top of Alice.

Alice: Aah *****, my back.

Dana started laughing, Alice started laughing with her. They hadn’t had that much fun since…they broke up. Dana stroked Alice’s hair, Alice touched Dana’s cheek. Dana leaned forward but backed away a little but finally kissed her on the lips. Alice didn’t hesitate to kiss back. Finally, the kiss she’s been longing to feel. Dana broke off and stared into Alice’s eyes.

Dana: There’s no dinner party is there?

Alice: Their trying to get us back together.

Dana: (sarcastically) Wow, really!

Alice: (smiling)

Dana: Do you think it’s working?

Alice: I don’t know, is it?

Dana just smiled and started kissing her again. They kissed and kissed until Alice’s phone started to ring but they continued kissing. Ring, kiss, ring, kiss, ring..Alice turned her head.

Alice: I should get that.

Dana: (getting off her) Must be the match-makers.

Alice stood up and got her cellphone from her purse.

Alice: Hello?

It was Shane.

Alice: Yeah..okay..bye.

Dana: What?

Alice: They’re coming home soon, we should definitely clean up.

Dana: Yeah, can we clean ourselves first?

Alice: Your right..(looking at herself)..I smell like *****.

Dana: (smiling) I’m first on the shower!

Dana ran out.

Alice: Hey cheater!

Alice is waiting outside the bathroom. She forgot how long Dana takes. She opened the door slowly and took off her shirt and pants and hopped in the shower with Dana. Dana back turned felt warmth of another body touched hers. She turned around she got greeted by a kiss. Alice and Dana kissed passionately.

Dana: (breaking off) What does this mean?

Alice: What do you think? (smiled)
