Dana couldn’t take it anymore, she has to tell Alice. It was now or never. Dana

turned off the radio.

Dana: Al.

Alice: (smiling) Yeah…

The sky started to darken up.

Dana: Al, I kissed Lara.

Dana sat there waiting for a reply, she glance at Alice but turned away quickly. She

didn’t know whether she was crying because she had her sunglasses on.
Alice stared into the horizon, shock by what Dana said.

Dana: At the..airport. We..kissed.

A wave of dizziness washed over Alice, her head suddenly feeling like she got hit by

a baseball bat, her chest filled with pain, anger and hatred. But not with Dana, she

could never get angry at her. She was angry at herself, she should’ve not insisted for

Dana to take Lara and Maria. It was all her fault. She brang it to herself. A drop of

rain landed on the windscreen. Dana, her eyes now filled with tears.

Dana: (whispering) Alice…please..say something. I’m sorry.

Dana’s voice trembling as her tears ran down her cheeks. Alice didn’t hear what Dana

said, all she could hear was the blaming voice in her head. She put Dana in a

difficult position, how could she do this to her? She’s hurting Dana and herself.
Dana could hear that Alice’s breath was becoming shaky. The silence was torturing

Dana she couldn’t stand silence specially when she’s with Alice. The rain began

pouring down, there was a flash of lightening.
It has been 10 minutes and Alice just sat there motionless, staring outside.
