Carmen-
I arrived at Helena’s mansion a half-hour late , due to holiday traffic, and knocked on the door expecting someone to answer and give me trouble over my promise to be punctual. So when I heard footsteps nearing the door on the other side, I braced myself and smiled brightly.
“Merry Christmas?” Helena had no sooner opened the door before I spoke in uncertainty and held up the bottle of champagne in my hand as a peace offering.
She seemed confused, not the reaction I’d been waiting for. “Uh, Merry Christmas to you too. May I ask why you’re acting weird?”
“Because, I thought you were going to give me a hard time about being late.” I explained after she accepted the champagne and stepped to the side allowing me in.
“Oh.” Her confusion faded and she rolled her eyes before studying the bottle. “Well, you’re not the only one who’s not on time.” I took off my jacket and folded it over my arm while following her through the lounge into the kitchen. “Dana and Lara aren’t here yet either.”
“I guess Alice isn’t coming then?” It was more of a defeated statement than a question.
Helena set the champagne on the island table next to countless, other bottles of expensive imported wines; I should’ve known that my choice in getting her alcohol for a gift wasn’t the first of it’s kind. “Actually, Alice is coming.” She smirked.
Yet, the manner in which she said it was so calm it made me nervous. “Wait a second, so you invited Dana, Lara, and Alice? Have you been drinking already?”
She wasn’t impressed. “I didn’t have the heart to exclude anyone.”
“Okay, I can understand that, but you do know how bad this end, right?”
“It can’t be any worse than having you and Shane here at the same time.”
That was something I’d forgotten about until now. “Point taken. And where is Shane by the way?”
I must’ve tried to hard not to sound obvious because of the unsure look she was giving me. “She’s out back.”
Up until yesterday, I hadn’t realized that being around Shane was more comfortable and enjoyable than the avoiding scenario was; It’s not like I’d forgiven her, but saying that I was over her would’ve been a sick joke.

Ok what is it with all the danish writer’s putting themselves down lately?! I’m telling you this is an awesome story and I love how you write it from 4 perspectives, its original and totally enthralling! Don’t doubt that. I really hope you don’t give up on this because I really will come over to your place and do some best friend talking to you! :P And awww for your so sweet comment, sadly yessum I have been rejected *sniffs* however thats a whole other story…or 5. oooo and alice has dropped the bomb shell to dana…. wonder waht dana will do now.great chapter. love this story. love how it focuses on both sharmen and danish. i love it really do… can’t wait to read more – if more is by tomorrow;) post more soon..lol
Wow, I’ve finally caught up on all your updates, this is a fantastic fic and I love the different perspectives. And that things are not all simple between these ladies. I like that you had Lara have her own life and leave Dana, who was being an ass. And that Dana and Alice can still talk, no matter how hard it may be for them to get to that place. Excellent work, looking forward to reading more;) Please post soon!

Alright, now i left you a message to further address you because if i wrote it all here we’ll it would take up a bit of space lol ANYHOW back to the story. Which has left me without any gracious words to say because you’ve heard them all and they all very much apply to this story but however i will try my best, it was FREAKINGAWESOMELOVELYFANTASTICBRILLIANTFUNNY yes that’s a word look it up… ok or it might just be 6 words…together. lol you’re good, you’re really good i really expected it to be DANA of course danish fool me it was UTA, which i was surprised and thought it was awesome. It really did want to make me cry (which by the way isn’t a bad thing, you write it so well, it’s actually a compliment, if ya made me cry lol) but yeah, me crying at the part with Dana in the bathroom, and then Alice and her having a lil chat, it was great. Now with Uta somewhat in the picture i wonder how that’s going to play out which i know you’ll fill us in on. Shane and Carmen, oh so cute and holy CRAP she still has the ring on? can’t wait for that part. Helena freaking out about little things was funny. Poor Helena she needs s1 in her life asap. and finally to end this which ended up being long anyhow you could never hurt me, it’s actually WAY the opposite so hush! and obviously PPS, yes it is a rather dire request :) x0x0x

ok awsome update but ahhhh the happy sharmen was torture , it was super funny but still those two are dancing around the inevitable again, please let them finaly figure it out i mean carmen still ahs the ring come on….shane wake up and go get her . thanx again you totaly came through , way to go, favorite author ever…
