Shane: Well I think it’s great. I love those two together.

Alice laughed; Kit got up.

Kit: I need to get back to work; I’ll see you guys later.

Alice: Okay, bye Kit.

Shane: Why does it seem like she isn’t happy with Bette and Tina being together?

Alice: I don’t know; well I have to be at the station early today. See you Later Shane.

Shane: Bye Al.

Alice grabbed her keys and left; while Shane read the paper and drank her coffee.  

At The Park…

Bette and Angelica had been at the park for about an hour. They went on the swings, the mini-see-saw, and then Angelica’s favorite; the slide. They climbed up to the top and sat down.

Bette: Okay ready? One…two…THREE!

They slid down the slide; Angelica’s face lit up. Bette laughed; she loved watching Angelica’s reaction to going down the slide. They reached the bottom and go up so the other kids could have their turn. She looked at her watch; wondering where Tina was.

Bette: Well hopefully Mama T will be here before you get too tired. Let’s go on the slide again.

They walked back to the ladder and waited for their turn.

At Bette and Tina’s…

The door bell rang; Tina came out of the laundry room and answered the door. She greeted a delivery man with a bouquet of flowers.

 Delivery Man: I’m looking for Tina Kennard.

Tina: That’s me.

Delivery Man: Could you sign here?

Tina signed the clipboard and took the flowers form the man.

Delivery Man: Have a nice day ma’am.

Tina: You too.

Tina closed the front door and placed the flowers on the coffee table in the living room. She looked at the flowers.

There’s no card…I guess there from Bette.

Tina after admiring the beautiful arrangement of flowers, Tina returned to the laundry room. After she had put the last load of clothes in the dryer; Tina grabbed the vacuum and started vacuuming in the living room. While she was vacuuming, she thought she had head something from the kitchen. She turned the vacuum off…but didn’t hear anything. She turned it back on and continued.  While Tina was cleaning; she was thinking back to everything that had happened the past few weeks. She was happy that she and Bette were trying again; and that Bette was even willing to try again. She then herd something form the kitchen. She turned off the vacuum again and decided to go see what it was.

I know I herd something…

She walked into the kitchen. She saw that the back door was open. Her heart started to race.

I did not open that door today…

 She slowly approached the door; and closed it. Right as she was going to turn around she felt a hand grip her shoulder. Tina quickly turned; she started to yell when a hand quickly covered her mouth.

At The Park…

Bette was pushing Angelica on the swings. She kept an eye on the time. It had been over two hours since she left the house.

I wonder why Tina isn’t here yet…

She continued to push Angelica on the swing; Angelica wasn’t very tired yet. She decided that she would wait a little bit longer before going home.
