    “Eat a dick you fucking bitch!”

     

     

    “Cut! Cut! Cut!” The director yells.

     

     

    “What! It’s the line what is it now?”

     

     

    “The line, what is the goddamned line….huh read to me…its in your fucking hand…its this thing called a script, have you read the script Honey? Read it to me…its on page one…it’s the first goddamn line of this scene…can you read….read me the line!”

     

     

    “Eat a dick you fucking cunt………Sorry…..I was just going with it.”

     

     

    “No one asked you to go with anything…this is just a dress rehearsal………. God…..ok….don’t improv anything on my picture unless I tell you…ok?”

     

    “Yeah sorry.”

     

     

    “This is what we get for hiring a goddamn soap actor…” The director mumbles as she walks away.

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Its 5 in the morning. Sunday to be exact. This is my life. My life for the next six to eight months. I was happy in my little word on Huntington Beach. Maybe you’ve watched it. It’s soap on ABC. I played Reese Donavon a surfing instructor with a dark past. In real life I’m Shane McCutcheon and I have just landed the most coveted role in Hollywood right now staring opposite Carmen Morales in the thriller Pyromance.

     

    This movie is one of those scripts that only comes around once in a lifetime. The writer a very cool guy by the name of Mark Wayland he wrote the script while working for Hollywood Video. He had written this script I really wanted called Shade of blue. Great fucking movie but they gave the part to some else…..it wasn’t Mark’s idea. I ran into him at this party at the Viper Room and he told me that he didn’t really want Cameron Diaz to play the part of Isabella, he really wanted me but he didn’t have say in the final casting.

     

    Turns out Mark is a huge Huntington Beach fan and I was his favorite character. We got ripped that night and he promised me that Shade of blue was going to be a hit and that the success will give him more of a say as to what goes.
