Bette turned round and looked at Helena seriously before walking off in Kit’s direction.
Helena‘s heart stopped as she watched Bette walk off before lifting the four drinks Mandy had left out on the bar for her. Karaoke resumed with a couple singing Black Eyed Peas ‘Beautiful People’. Helena blushed a little but quickly composed herself before she made her way back to their table. Her heart was racing
"What exactly are you doing sis?" Kit said shaking her head unbelievingly, holding her forehead with both hands. Running her hands through her hair, she walked round to sit behind the desk in the small office, still shaking her head.
Black Eyed Peas ‘Beautiful People’ could be vaguely heard.
Bette looked at Kit incredulously, "What am I doing Kit? What am I doing you’re asking?" Bette said rhetorically, turning away. "For once, I’m doing what I want to do. I’m sick and tired of hurtingI’m sick and tired of going home, walking into my bedroom and turning the fucking lights on to an empty roomI’m sick and tired of waking up in the morning and the first thing that comes into my head is Tina lying next to fucking" Bette stopped resignedly as she turned round to face Kit. She paused and said, "Tina’s happy nowshe’s not coming back Kit" she said looking into Kits eyes before leaning on the side of the desk and folding her arms.
Kit looked at Bette and moved round the desk to put her arms around her baby sis who leaned on her. She held Bette as closely as she could. Nothing’s gone right for Bette in a long timeShe knew how much Bette missed Daddy. She knew Bette better than anybody else.
"Ok, come on then, lemme buy my lil sis another martini" she joked. Bette smiled and gave in.
"Hey thanks for the drink Helena!" Shane shouted before taking a sip, "God, that tastes goooood".
"Yea thanks Helena" Alice echoed straight away, standing up to resume her swaying, "Come on Helena, lets show Shane how it’s done!" she said taking Helena by the arm and looking at Shane mischievously.
"D’you see what I mean Shane?!" Helena laughed and stood up.

This is really great but of course wayyyyyy too short. I love what you’re doing. You can really feel the tension between Bette and Helena! It seems our Bette is on the prowl.

Oooooooooooooooh this is getting could. Love the sexual banter between Bette and Helena, love the slow pace too. Could be a little longer please.
