She knew now that she had found true intimacy with Tina.
Bette’s thoughts were interrupted by Tina. “Should I be worried that Jodie will retaliate against Elena when people find out who did the real work? I don’t want to get her into something she can’t get out of.” she asked.
“No, I don’t think so. Jodie is careful with her own career. Let’s see what the footage shows us and go from there. That will guide your next step.”
“Lara and I are looking at it this week. I am starting to think I need a more camouflaged approach, with the gallery opening, we don’t need an enemy like Jodie.”
“Tee, Baby, you will do the right thing at the right time. You always do”. Bette yawned, and moved her head even closer to Tina, her lips pressed to her wife’s forehead for a good night kiss. Her eyelids were heavy, and before she knew it, she was asleep.
Tina looked at her for a while. It spoke volumes to her that Bette was able to go to sleep so quickly and she loved having her so close to her. She could smell her intoxicating scent, part shampoo, part perfume but all Bette.
Bette had always struggled with falling asleep and would tell Tina that having her next her was the best sleep aid she could find. Not long ago she thought she would never see Bette sleeping in her bed again. Never again see her long eyelashes closed against the day, never listen to her even breathing in the middle of the night. When sleep claimed her too, she went with a grateful heart, their bodies close and their breathing in sync.
Tina woke early, getting up carefully to look at her sunburn, it was much improved. She moved quietly, wanting Bette to be able to sleep as late as she needed. She dressed for a run and was back and in the shower when Bette finally woke. Tina came out in her towel to see her in the middle of a lazy stretch, unfolding her body like a cat. Amused, she watched her for a moment, shaking her head. Bette waking up was a vision of uncurling, unfolding, becoming.

Eric, hmm don’t trust him at all, after all these yeard he is back and i wouldn’t be surprised if he wants Tina back and him working/supporting Tina’s workplace is his way to try to get Tina in his arms back.
I suspect that there could be a plan between him and Jodie, to try to break up Bette &Tina. But Bette & Tina are such a strong couple now and will win everything that is thrown their way. I am ready to help them fight off everyone who try to break them!!!

I love the notes between Bette and Tina – naked creamy bliss and melting chocolate bliss…wonderful descriptions.
I hate Eric and I hate Aaron. I really want to see those two get some payback for their behavior. Aaron hires Jodi and now he hires Eric. If he didn’t have Tina, his studio would be shuttered closed.
I have believe that Tina and Bette will remain faithful to each other. What I worry about is the appearance of unfaithfulness rather than it actually occurring. That’s the fuel which will cause trouble in their relationship and the thing that someone like Jodi would love to use.
Your story has so many moments of intimacy between Bette and Tina. Although, I am thrilled that they have finally gotten to this stage in their relationship, I feel sad that it took so long and so much hurt and pain to get here. Real intimacy comes when both parties are able to drop their defenses to use to protect themselves from hurt. And to do that there must be a trust that neither of them will use their vulnerable attributes as weapons against the other. That is what enables Bette to tell Tina about her fears. She trust Tina will not at some point in the future use it to humiliate her or use it to her own advantage to manipulate her behavior. Without this trust, the shields will not come down and intimacy is difficult to achieve.
Good story…keep the chapters coming.

Interesting background story to Tina and Eric. Watch out for the ordinary ones, the predicables. His persistence on talking to Tina leaves me wary to his true intentions.. But T + B will handle this situation as well and their relationship will only become stronger. At least I hope that’s what’s going to happen ;-)
