Right Next Door PT3
“I thought she was well looked after,” Eric looked away and forced a smile.
What was that supposed to mean? Bette’s brows furrowed as she tried to work out what he could have possibly meant. Was it a dig at something or was he just being genuine? Bette shook her head and climbed to her feet. She wanted to get home.
“I am going to start locking up now Eric, so… time to go?” Bette closed her laptop again and carefully put it in the carrier. “I might stop off at a few places so I won’t be back straight away.”
Eric stood up and headed towards the door, “Yeah, that’s fine.” Bette was right. He was going to stop off at a florist and get Tina a bouquet of flowers, just to say sorry for his behaviour. “I’ll see you when I see you.”
Bette looked up to say something but he’d already left the office. Why was I telling him to apologise to Tina? Bette sat back down and ran her fingers into her curly hair. When Franklin called her four or five days a go, she expected totally different people. But no, she had to get a genuinely nice man and a gorgeous girl staying at her house. To make matters worse, it was obvious there was some sort of sexual tension between Tina and her.
When she saw the blond, she just wanted to wrap her arms around her and kiss her small inviting mouth. There was something about the way her lips moved that would make Bette transfixed. She’d often get caught staring but she didn’t care anymore. She would always catch Tina’s hazel eyes on her. It was obvious the feeling was mutual.
She was a good girl though. She wasn’t going to ruin somebody else’s relationship and she wasn’t going to allow Tina to do it either. They were going to have to limit their time together and if anything does happen, they aren’t going to let it happen again. Bette rubbed her forehead as she felt another headache forming. She just wanted to get home and have a glass of wine… alone.
^^^
When she pulled into her driveway, Bette was surprised to see that Eric’s car wasn’t there. He had to be back now, surely. Bette climbed out her car and grabbed her belongings. She was planning to do some work after she had some dinner and a glass of wine to relax herself.

Watch he’ll get all pissy and threaten to leave the next day. There’s no sense in that bullcrap.
Ok, Eric needs to grow up and stay sober. What the hell does Tina see in this guy and why does she feel she needs to put up with his crap? Why is Eric unwilling to take Tina with him? Is he cheating or is he cheating and downlow, which would explain why he doesn’t want to see Tina without clothes? Answers please!!!
So what did happen to Bette’s dressing gown??? Loved the update and guess I have to go with the consensus that Eric is an ass and Tina should dump him. bette is in a tough spot though with Eric being the artist for the CAC show. I have a feeling this one is going to get messy!
Nice story , very nice.. , only 4 little words to say… “Eric is a ass”
I hope that this will not mess up Bette’s show because Franklin will jump all over her. But Eric needs to have his brain rewired or knocked around a little bit. You don’t leave a beautiful woman at home to drink and I am sure play around with some scuzzy woman. It also sounds like Eric is pushing Bette towards Tina.
Eric is an ass, poor Tina but glad Bette is there to protec her!
wtf …get rid of Eric….pps…with no more eric the drunk…
Man. Tina could do way better than an alcoholic who treats her like that.. hopefully Eric will be out of the way romantically soon. It certainly isn’t a healthy relationship.
