"Not for me it isn’t," Dana replied quickly. "I hate not being in control of my feelings. I hate knowing that Alice is making me feel all these things for her without even doing anything herself. And I’m so scared of how hard I’m going to fall for her once I admit that what I really want is her."
"That wasn’t so hard, was it?" Lara asked quietly, causing Dana to look up at her in confusion. "Admitting all that stuff to me. I see you haven’t died or suffered any immediate effects from it."
"You’re so gay sometimes," Dana laughed, punching Lara lightly on the arm. "But yeah, it wasn’t so bad."
"See? Now all you need to do is adapt the same line of thought for when you tell Alice your feelings." Lara’s encouraging smile shone through for about five seconds before being cut down by Dana’s cold stare. "What?"
"You need to understand something. Alice… even though I may like her, isn’t quite human. And to tell her what I just told you, don’t even bother thinking about it. She’d shoot it down like anything purely just to see me squirm. So for that reason, you’re utterly crazy and I’m not telling her."
Lara watched in awe as Dana got up from the bed and stormed out of the room, a heavy indication that their little deep and meaningful had now ended. The redhead fell back onto the bed with a sigh as she contemplated just how screwed up Dana’s relationship with Alice really was; "And she thinks I’m crazy…"
"Alice!" Shane groaned out loud as her fifth attempt to wake the snoring blonde was defeated. She’d tried nagging, prodding, kicking, yelling and even went to the extent of pouring water on her, but somehow Alice had managed to sleep through it all. Onlookers would have assumed it was something to do with the copious amount of alcohol she had drunk the night before, but Shane knew her better than that. This was just pure, unedited, lazy Alice… and it was pissing Shane off.
"Ok! I’m done!" She yelled out in frustration, grabbing a pen and scribbling a messy note out for Alice. She was already late for a very important… date? No. Meeting. And Alice wasn’t going to stop her from attending.

Oh my gosh! I loved it! I was laughing the whole time. The chemistry between Dana and Alice is amazing. I love the part where Dana is trying to convice Alice that she’s a good tennis player. Excellent. I used to not like tennis, but due to Dana Fairbanks I now play tennis as often as I can (and enjoy it), and I’m actually watching the U.S. Open right now. I hope Dana and Alice play some tennis. That always ends up being really funny, or super cute. I wonder if both Dana and Alice are going to continue the charade of having girlfriends, or if they will just finally admit that it was all a ploy. I can’t wait for more. I really enjoy your writting.
filler? filllerrrr? lol this was great bo lol the whole talk about Alice and her amazing driving skills made me laugh poor bird!i really like Lara being Dana’s good friend! and nothing more lol she really suits Dana as a friend. Priceless moment was Alice trying to act hurt at seeing Shane with the “other woman” lol i wonder if Both Dana and Alice will keep this very funny charade of having girlfriends up tho however a big breakup between them all would be halarious tho soon following the oops it was all a lie thing just as funny lol BUT I am NOT however happy how u ended this…I want morreeeee! but i know i know real life comes first lol ty so much for the update!

Thanks for updating! LOL @ Shane and Lara making out. I wonder how Alice and Dana will react to it… as Shane and Lara being their supposedly girlfriends. Will they make much of a scene? And how long will it take before they realize the relationships were a scheme? ;)
Ok, totally loved it. But you already knew that! Danish was cracking me up, and I actually kind of, ok, really dig the idea of Shane and Lara. Too bad it totally just put our girls in an awkward position that both of their “girlfriends” are “cheating” on them with each other. Ha ha. I can’t wait for your next update! I might have to post my story again tonight so you’ll post yours for me! Damn you bribing me like that! How could I turn you or this story down?

Fantastic update – anything with cute, funny Danish banter can never be called “filler”! I laughed out loud at Alice’s slightly belated and overly-dramatic reaction to Shane “cheating” on her. I can’t wait to see how Dana reacts to Lara’s “infidelity” as well! I have a feeling that Shane and Lara are going to force Alice and Dana to come clean with each other pretty soon – though I can’t imagine the game of one-upmanship will end there! Thank you for another great update – hope all is well with real life stuff, and that it doesn’t keep you away for too long!

Loved the bit about Dana trying to convince Alice that she playes tennis…Al’s repsonse was priceless. The whole chapter kept me laughing! Please find the time to update soon. (C’mon, who needs a life? lol)

you are such an excellent writer. i love this story – i started out with a bias towards soul singing – but as this one progresses – i love this one just as much. and while we’re on that topic – where is soul singing… hahaha. please update soon i miss danish when you are gone. well done! cheers!
Oh man that was really good, I cannot wait to see this one play out. Lara and Shane LMAO, two so called girls friends cheating on their so called lovers with eachother. Sounds like funny stuff to me, hope Alice can keep a straight face on though! Update soon, please!
