    Author Notes:

    Shane is surpised, Carmen reunites with old friends…Jenny is Jenny. Sloan is introduced

     

    Carmen: I am going to take a shower, get out of those work clothes

    Sloan: okay, I’ll wait for you to finish

     

         Sloan just had got off a three day back to back shift. She had to stay at the firehouse once a month. Carmen hated being alone in a big house but liked her freedom at the same time.

     

            It was 12 in the afternoon Saturday. Alice was in her house going over the party list with Tasha

     

    Tasha: Are you going to tell Shane that you saw Carmen

    Alice: you think I should, I mean I would like her to come to the party

    Tasha: but what about jenny

    Alice: what about jenny? You think she will start something

    Tasha: if you push her enough she just might

     

           Door bell rings

    Alice and goes to get the door                                         

     

    Alice: hey shaney, Tasha and I were just talking about you

    Shane: yeah maybe that’s why my ear was ringing, about what

     

    Alice: hey are you bringing jenny to the party

    Shane: I don’t know she has been acting weird, and besides she might not go

    Tasha: why?

    Shane: she is just weird like that; maybe she still thinks Bette is still mad about the book

    Alice: and the negatives, and the

    Tasha: Alright Alice, let’s not dwell please on the past

    Shane: Well, I might bring someone else

    Alice: who?

    Shane: (pursing her lips together) I don’t know

    Alice: well can I tell you something

    Tasha: Alice

    Shane: what? what is it?

    Alice: well, we were at the planet and….

    Tasha: don’t do it Al

    Shane: what come on tell me?

    Alice: Carmen came into the planet to get someone coffee and meet her “roommate”

    Tasha: Can’t believe you went there?

    Shane: (did a dbl take) Car… Carmen. You saw Carmen.

    Alice: Yea and she was looking pretty hot.

    Shane: (shocked and brushes it off) whatever, I thought she had moved away

    Alice: no she is still here, but her roommate works in this area.

    Shane: I don’t believe that’s her roommate, did she?

    Alice: ask for you, no, she didn’t, but I have her number

           

          Shane thought she would never hear that name again. Carmen was the love of life then there was molly. Molly I wonder what happened to her. She thought to herself.

Alice and Tasha are way cute. :) I liked Carmen’s reaction to Shane and Jenny: “I thought I and jenny were bad enough, but Shane and Jenny that was unbelievable.” Heh, yeah, Shane + Jenny = Disaster! Even Shane and Jenny know it’s a B.S. relationship. Wow, this Sloan is the perfect person. She has the job, the car, the look. . . the eye of a certain Carmen de la Pica Morales. *wink* But it seems like maybe Helena has Sloan’s eye? Okay, I’m off to read the third part. Again, thanks for posting. :)
