The rest of the week passed by quickly and Sunday arrived. The two lovers had decided to sleep in and get some needed rest. Work had been crazy for both of them, Bette handling some difficulties with the other employees and Tina’s practice had been overwhelmed with sick children. They had all eaten at their school cafeteria and suffered from food poisoning. Tina always took Sunday off but was afraid that because of the food poisoning she wouldn’t be able to do so. Luckily most of the children had gotten better and her assistants were capable of handling the situation. It was already 11 o’clock when the two mothers-to-be woke up from their very long, peaceful and nurturing sleep. Bette rolled over to Tina’s side and softly stroke her hair. She smiled and softly kissed Tina’s lips and stomach.

Bette: “Good morning T. Good morning little one. I love you both very much.”

Tina: “We love you too Bette.”

Bette: “T, what do you say if we have an early lunch outside by the pool and maybe think of some baby names?”

Tina: “I’d love that. We definitely need to have an idea about the name of the baby.”

Bette: “I’ll take a shower and get dressed and then I’ll make us some sandwiches. You just lay in bed for a while. Okay babe?”

Tina: “Okay, but I have to pee first.”

When both women were showered and dressed, they sat outside on a blanket and enjoyed the little lunch Bette had fixed them.

Tina: “These sandwiches are delicious baby!”

Bette: “Thanks T. I guess you were kind of hungry?”

Tina: “Yeah, I guess so. Typical isn’t it. I’m not even pregnant for a week and already I’m stuffing my face with food.”

Bette: “You are eating for two Tina. It’s normal that you eat a little bit more then before. Just remember that I’m here for you. I want to do everything I can so if you ever need or want anything, just say it and I’ll do it.”

Tina: “Really? Anything?”

Bette: “Anything. I want you to just relax so that you can bring our child into this world. I will do everything I can to make this pregnancy easier for you.”
