“Tee, Im so thrilled that you decided to come home… But I have to ask, are you sure this is what you want? Now don’t get me wrong, you know I want this more than anything… I was just wondering you know, I mean what about Helena?” Bette asked while driving in the direction of their home.

Tina looked at Bette with a gracious smile upon her face. She placed her hand on Bette’s, as Bette kept her eyes on the road.

“Bette? Baby, I’m absolutely positive. I have been away from you for far too long… I think it took me too time to realize that I need you in my life, as my wife, and also as my best friend. Otherwise Ill never be as happy as I am when Im with you…. to have all of you. Tina sighed loudly, “and as for Helena, I don’t want to be with her. I want to be with you baby.” Tina grips Bette’s hand tighter, making Bette remove her eyes from the road and look at her.

“I know its really none of my business. But, can I ask what happened? All I noticed was that she wasn’t at the hospital when you were in labor,” Bette said as she glanced down at their entwined fingers.

“Baby you can ask me anything. I don’t want us to keep anything from each other. I want this to work, and we don’t have to be scared to ask or question things. She is no longer in the picture. Well, not with me at least. After I told her that I wanted to see other people, she knew right away that it was you I wanted to see,” Tina giggled a little. She was pretty upset. After that, she was like a different person, flaunting numerous women in front of me. To be honest I was jealous. But, I was getting closer to you. You over took that jealousy and I started to think clearly, which I can admit that I wasn’t doing for a while. I just started to think, why am I making things harder on myself and other people, including our friends, when I know what I want? I guess I was too scared to go after it. I know we still have a lot of issues to overcome within our relationship, but I want us to do it together. I just want to thank you for being there,” Tina said with tears in her eyes as she moved her face towards the passenger window of the moving car.
