    Communication, scares, and lies….Hollenback Police Station…

    Bette starts the car getting ready to pull off…Tina taps the hood…

    Tina: Bette wait!

    Bette presses her brakes hard…She rolls down her window and puts the car in park…

    Bette: what did you say?

    Catching her breath…Bette gets out the car…

    Tina: I said wait…I wanna apologize for ignoring you and not hearing you out. That was very rude of me especially because I’m a cop and you could get me in trouble if you know what I mean.

    Bette: I would never get you in trouble Tina. That’s not me.

    Tina: good… So what were you trying to say back there?

    Bette: well I’m sorry to have sent you the wrong message about me and Tammy because it wasn’t like that. Me and Tammy are not really together. I heard that Eric proposed and you said yes and that was it. After that I tore up your number and threw it in the trash. And then I called Tammy.

    Tina: who told you that?

    Bette: I’d rather not say. But all I can do is apologize because I should of called you and asked you myself. By listening not only have you went back to your ex but I lost an opportunity to know the real you a deeper side of you. Last night when we were in the kitchen that’s when it all donned on me. I should’ve called. Here I am about to blame this whole thing on Alice when I’m to blame. I fucked up. So that’s when I threw your number in the trash and called Tammy. So junior high right?

    A tear began to roll down her cheek…

    Tina: no because obviously you have alot of feelings involved. When there comes to emotions sometimes they can be strong and others are not. Your human right?

    Bette: right

    Tina: really it’s not your fault. You relied on a friend and instead of her looking out she looked down on you. It’s nothing new Bette. Sometimes people can’t take when another person is happy. But still overall you could’ve called. The reason why I’m not mad all like that because it’s not like we were dating and we’re semi on the friendship line so we’re still beginning. The way that you feel about me Bette I feel for you

    1. This will not be pretty and someone is ggoing to be hurt really badly and I’m afraid it is Tina and she will not understand any of it. I wish Bette could tell her before hand but she can not do that either. What a dilemma. Thanks for the post. Post soon please.

    3. Bette needs to tell Tina about Eric. If she goes on a date with Eric without telling Tina the truth, Tina will be hurt, humiliated and confused. She might even think Bette is to blame for all of it. Please post soon

    7. I can kind of understand why Bette didn’t tell Tina about Eric. B&T really don’t know each other very well yet and news like that is usually best delivered from a lifelong friend, or better yet seen with one’s own eyes.Can’t wait for the next chapter!
