Chapter 10
LA – Summer 2002
At a karaoke bar
“Of all the people I would be expecting to see… T… you are at the bottom of that list” Bette was not trying to be hostile but she wasn’t gonna be used again.
Tina exhaled a big breathe she wasn’t aware she was holding. She was expecting some hostility coming towards her, but then again she was not. Maybe, in her head, Bette would have forgotten all about the last time they were together. Tina herself was still fuzzy about some parts of their last conversation.
She took another big breathe. This was going to take all of her strength.
“I… I… I know that… the last time we met… wasn’t…”
“T… you don’t need to go there… I’m just surprised to see you here”
Silence again. But this time Bette turned around to face Tina.
“I don’t know if you know… or if the girls told you… they are out there” Bette pointed at the rest room door while she said that last bit of her sentence.
“But this is not… any party… this is my… my…” She tried to continue.
“I know what party this is Bette” Tina was certain at this point that appearing at this exact moment had not been the best idea.
“Oh… ok… so… you know…great then… how have you been? How’s Eric?”
Yale – 1996
Tina answered the door, slightly opening it.
“Hi” She shyly greeted her friend.
“Hi… T… listen… are you busy right now? Cause I would really like to apologize for my behaviour today” Bette sounded very sincere.
“Bette… it’s fine, don’t worry about it… I just think…”
“TK?” Julia asked interrupting Tina, standing up and slowly starting to approach the door. As soon as she heard that name escaping from Tina’s lips, she needed to see who was this new character in her friend’s life; who was taking so much of her time.
“Oh sorry T… I didn’t know you had company, I’ll go…”
When Tina saw Julia coming towards the door she realized it was too late, she was gonna have to do the introducing part.

So Juilia was not a lesbian and Bette meets Alice as a pick up to get laid, and somehow Julia is marrying Bette and her and alkice or friends while Tina is with Eric in New York. This is good stuff.
You’re killing me here…I’m dying to know what happened between Tibette and how B ended up with Julia :( But you’ll make it right, won’t you? *puppyeyes* PPS
