Kate/Green Arrow: No!

(Supergirl/Tina tightens her grip on Zod, who was trying to get free)

Supergirl/Tina: Use them!

Max/Flash: What arrows?

Kate/Green Arrow: They’ve got through you both

Supergirl/Tina There is no other way do it!

(Kate/Green Arrow removes an arrow from the carrier. It had lead covering the tip. She removes the lead and the tip glows. It was made of kryptonite. Bette spots the glow)

Bette: No Kate don’t!!

(Supergirl/Tina turns her head. Bette was standing next to Alice her face was a mask of despair and fear. Kate/Green Arrow looks at Bette then back at Tina, who turns her head back to Kate. Zod was really trying to get free; Tina wasn’t sure how much longer she could hold on)

Kate/Green Arrow: I’m so sorry Bette

(Kate raises her bow and takes aim. Supergirl/Tina closes her eyes)

Bette: NO!

(Kate/Green Arrow lets the arrow go, it strikes Zod through the chest; the arrow passes straight through him and into Supergirl/Tina. There are two painful screams as both Zod and Supergirl/Tina fall to the floor)

Bette: TINA!!!!!!

(Kate/Green Arrow slowly lowers her bow as the others look at her in shock. Bette and Alice run over to Supergirl/Tina. Zod was dead the arrow had gone straight through his heart)

Bette: No Tina

(Bette turns Supergirl/Tina over and gathers her in her arms, the arrow was lodged close to her heart there was no way she was going to live)

Bette: Baby?

Supergirl/Tina: I’m so sorry Bette

Bette: Ssshhh it’s going to be okay

(The hostages walk slowly out of the Talon. Jake and Laurel run over to the scene. They see their daughter with an arrow in her chest. The Justice League remove their disguises and watch as the world’s greatest hero draws her final breathes)

Supergirl/Tina: I love you so much

Bette: I love you too

Supergirl/Tina: You… you have to… to write this story Bette

Bette: Not without you

Supergirl/Tina: The world… needs to know… know how their savior died saving… saving their home

Bette: You’re not going to die

(Tears were falling down both Bette and Tina’s cheeks they knew what was going to happen)

Supergirl/Tina: You can’t… can’t remove the arrow… it’s too close… close to my heart

Bette: (Sobbing) There is… no me… without… you

Supergirl/Tina: Nev… Never forget

(Supergirl/Tina draws her last breath as her eyes slide closed. The Justice League, Alice, Jake and Laurel are all crying. Kate feels the guilt come crashing down on her, she killed Tina and destroyed Bette’s life)

Bette: Tina? Tina? No! No!!!!!

(Bette brings Supergirl/Tina into her chest and clings onto the lifeless body of her lost love. She places Tina gently on the ground before standing. She kneels down and takes Tina’s body in her arms. She stands and looks at Kate)

Bette: You murdered her and I will never forgive you for that

(Bette walks away slowly with Tina’s body in her arms. Alice, Max, Mark, Carmen, Jake and Laurel follow. Kate stands in the middle of the street holding the weapon she had murdered Tina with in her hands. Sobs came racking from her body, what had she done?)
