Her old friend had never made an enemy among students or colleagues. She had a lot of enemies, but at the religion lines. Her personal life was simple and Bette was forgiven and forgave easily. This was not the simple and plane truth in just one case. But this was lost to their youth.
Dana forced her to come back from her thoughts.
“Nice to meet you …Yes, I’m Dana Fairbanks. Thanks for the “THE””. She turned to watch Bette’s serious face and tried to change the subject. “C’mon, Bette, yes, I know that I’m an EX athlete, I don’t have to worry about my physical condition, bruises and all of that but I have all these years in front of me! My future! All these plans… I can’t do that!”
”C’mon , Dane…Just once.” Bette begged to her friend, which Madison found cute.
“Just once!? Could be the last, Bette! No way! Hel can go with you next time. She can bring you here whenever you want… ” Dane talked to Bette, the Dean, Madison’s professor, just like people talk to a child. “But I warn you she will say no…”
“Hel is seducing her possible new girlfriend, Dane… This could last for weeks…”
“Will you allow me the honor?” Madison promptly said. “My colleague also suffered a chicken syndrome crisis and gave up.” She turned to face the ex tennis player. “No offense, Dane”
“No offense taken…” Dane was observing the young girl. She began to see why Bette was so fascinated with the student. She was enticing. Her body was beautiful. Her voice was sensual, but she was kind, and possessed a killer melt smile. Bette is in love with herself. Her reflex…My dear narcissistic friend. The girl is a younger version of Bette Porter! Ha! Dana let a smile form on her lips while the younger mocha skinned lady, invited Bette.
“Maybe we could go the two of us. How about that?”
“Sounds to me that you found a match, B…” Dana let out.
Bette tightened her eyes and met Dana’s, but resolved to let it go.
“Are you sure, Mad…?”
“Yes! Unless the chicken syndrome began to show its effects on you and …”

Braz! I love this light chapter. I laughed the first time I read it! You explain the emotions so well, and I can just see Bette being embraced by this young woman. I just wonder what someone is going to think of that!!! I see you posted, and will try to get that one read now as well. You continue to amaze me always, and if I must blush….welll….it’s best that it be from you right? * wink *
Well I guess I can wait a little while longer for B&T to come…..daily;-) You certainly can make waiting a fun activity with this other story – although I foresee some waiting here as well?PPS
Tina doesn’t need a naughty girl. She could go for a Lament though. ;) And who could not feel safe with Bette?
I don’t know why but damn I’m feeling so confused. Does Bette know that Madison is Tina’s daughter? She calls her boo and keeps referring to her Mother. Because that would mean that Tina knows Bette is Madison’s teacher. I’m assuming they don’t know and that boo is just Bette’s nickname for Madision. I also get the feeling and I’d better be right that this crush, infatuation, whatever is all oneside and its on Madison’s side. Where’s Tina when we need her, oh yeah she’s at a lesbian bar, hello no need to go there just follow your daughter.
Dear, dear, dear… a fruit salad is not green, except if you put kiwi in it :-D (personaly, I like pineapple, mango, orange, grapes, apple, watermelon, lemon and… bananas (well in the fruit salad, of course), and just whatever fruits I can find) — just your description of Bette’s classification had me drooling ;-p — what candy ? well, I love them all, including crystallized fruits (pineapple in particular), but also caramel (especially when it includes nuts), or “nougat”, and anything with honey… : but I don’t know Brazilian specialties : you’ll have to enlighten me ;-) — So, you’re just feeding my sugar addiction, hn ? I just loved that chapter : the interaction between Bette, Dana and Madison was really very funny, Dana being her usual self, and Bette too :-)) Madison obviously has a Major crush on Bette, and any occasion to touch her is good to her ;-) needing to be comforted is certainly one of the best (I suffer from severe vertigo, but, in Bette Porter’s arms, I think I would even sky dive ;-)) — On the contrary, I had the impression that Bette’s behaviour towards Madison was more of a motherly nature, calling her “Boo”, and she certainly doesn’t know who her mother is (Ms Santo) – Dana is more perceptive than she used to be (younger) : she sees very well what Bette sees in Madison : herself, younger… — As for Tina : she’s tired of “good boys”, well “naughty girls” *could* seem a good idea ;-), naughty to what extent ? — Well, let’s go rafting, and let’s have Dean Porter meet the mother of her last conquest :-) — I just have to go to bed now because the lack of sleep is beginning to take its toll : the screen is beginning to blur, so I won’t be answering email by 4am, OK ? —— I don’t know when you sleep : 4 posts in 2 days, on 3 (very) different stories… and you still have time to read and work ? :-*
