    Some day, some way….
    Bette and Tina talk
    chapter 2

    Salad Days restaurant

“Well, what do you think?” Asked Bette as she poured a cup of tea for Tina at the Salad Days.

Tina studied the beautiful brunette sitting next to her at the table. She had spent seven years with this woman…more actually, if you counted their unsuccessful reconciliation. During this relationship, they had hurt each other often in small ways and sometimes in huge ways.

“I think maybe we should try,” Tina replied carefully as she took a sip of tea.

Bette looked at the lovely blonde who was the biological mother of their child, now three years old. They had worked out adoption and custody agreements and that had been progressing well.

They had developed a cool friendliness toward each other and now wondered if there was any chance in trying to rebuild their relationship. Neither was in a relationship at the moment. This time they both agreed that they needed professional help and had sought out a woman about whom they had heard good things and had had a good first session. Now they were discussing the second session.

    Therapist’s office – earlier

Why don’t you tell me more about your relationship?” prompted the doctor when she understood that they were still seeking a reconciliation.

Dr. Reeder listened quietly while they added to the story they had told her during their first session.. After she had talked to both separately, she had had some conclusions and some suggestions.

“Now, do you still say you want to try getting back together?” The doctor asked when they were both back in the office together. They both nodded.

“These are some of the things I have seen at this point:

    1. You both have trust issues with the other.

    2. You both have personality flaws which proved destructive to your relationship. What do you need to change about yourself?

    3. You both don’t seem good talking about your problems to each other.

    4. You both seem to want a serious, committed relationship with the other. I’m still not certain how much this involves your daughter, but we can work on that.

    5. And finally, for this session at least, you don’t seem to know each other very well.”

    1. I like your writing, hope you know that by now and this story has great potential, but I’ve to say this: They say they love each other, but it doesn’t seem like it – the love doesn’t shine through…yet, I’m sure it will come :o)). The dating idea is great, looking forward to that.

    2. Hmmm…get to know each other, reflect on your own faults, and not allow yourselves to be deflected from the above tasks with sex or offspring. Just might work. Possibly even better than a rubber nose. Looking forward to more.

    3. *pouting* no NC-17’S? None? At all? I like this story…I hope something like this happens when they FINALLY get together IF they get together. Glad to see you back Pancha.

    4. So am I. I am really looking forward to them getting to know one another again. That is what allowed them fall in love in the first place spending time together. Thanks for writing a Tibette story and I hope that it will end in a happy reunion.

    5. Pancha, Wonderful as always. It was a delight to see Bette and Tina trying to work through their past and re-ignite the passion that they both know that they are capable of together. The Therapist was right on the money at describing their present situation and finding a way forwards. The “And no sex” line was choice. LOL for ages. Shane’s reaction was brilliantly orchestrated as she laid back and refused to be drawn into making Bette’s choice for her. Only down side is that I wanna know where they are going and how the date progresses. More please and make it soon. Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.

    6. You are such a great story tell. Loved how the Therapist told them NO sex. No talking about Angie just pretend they just met and get to know each other. This is going to be hard on both of them. Let them just turn loose and try to have a fun date. thanks

    7. That is one smaaaaart therapist… can’t wait to see where Tina’s taking Bette! Seriously, such a brilliant idea for them to really work on themselves for the sake of their relationship and not all the wrong reasons.
