    Chapter 131

     

    “Do you want coffee or cyanide ?” James asked Bette as she walked into her gallery

     

    “Put the cyanide into the coffee – it has been one fucking hell of a morning already “

     

    “I know “

     

    Bette raised an eyebrow at James

     

    “How do you know ?”

     

    “Pictures of Alice ?” James grinned.

    “

    Who ?”

     

    “I was forwarded them by a couple of lesbians I know – they are always sending me crazy stuff.

    Enough to put you off your morning bagel aren’t they ?”

     

    “Oh yes “

     

    “And how is Miss Alice this morning ?”

     

    “Sure that we are making it all up”

     

    “No “

     

    “Yes – James – can you get me that coffee ?”

     

    “Of course – sorry – Alice really doesn’t know what she’s done ?”

    “No “ Bette’s headache was slowly getting worse – she was sure coffee wouldn’t help it but she

    needed her coffee fix.

     

    “Finn called by the way “

     

    “Is everything okay ?”

     

    “He’s at the airport. The dealership also called “

     

    Bette looked at him “Yes?”

     

    “What colour ribbon do you want ?”

     

    “Pink “

     

    “That was what I said “ James said “I can’t wait to see her face “

     

     

    Bette grinned “It is going to be worthwhile – I have been going to buy her a car for months. It

    will be a great birthday gift for her “

     

    “How are you going to top that for your wedding ?”

     

     

    Bette smiled “I have no idea but I am sure going to have fun figuring it out “

     

    “Does she have any idea ?”

    “No – I have been very careful. If she does have any clue its because Alice was trying to let the

    cat out of the bag this morning “

    “No “

     

    Bette shook her head “I could have fucking well murdered her- she knows I want this to be a surprise for Tina and she was doing her best to drop hints. If it wasn’t for what Alice is going

    4. Finally Alice believes what they were trying to tell her that morning. Gone into hiding!!!!!!lol, I love it. Now maybe she will keep her damned mouth shut from now on. She doesn’t know how close she came to being Bette’s proverbial mop for the floor when she wouldn’t shut up about their plans for Saturday night. Can hardly wait to find out what precipatated the thought for someone to put all Alices’ business on the internet. This should subdue Alice quite a bit. Tina is sharp and very smart by playing it cool about dressing for their date to please Bette as she wants her to think. Of course, Sarah and the car are the biggest surprises that she will just love. And we know she will just cry a river of tears of happiness, love and joy. Fantastic chapter. Thanks for posting.

    5. I still don’t like the way Bette and Tina are treating Alice. Willow was right about Bette and Tina. If Tina invites the Nial’s mistress thaat is the end for for this story.

    7. Alice has always been the loud and annoying element. This should keep her subdued for quite some time. Hopefully you will elaborate a bit on how those pictures (dog or no dog)were taken end ended up on the internet.
