SOMETHING SO RIGHT
CHAPTER 151
Tina emerged from the toilets after having a wash and changing her clothes
– she really needed a shower but nothing would persuade her to leave Bette while she was still so ill. Helena was sitting drinking coffee – she pointed to a sandwich and a bottle of water
“For you “
“I am okay”
“You need to keep your strength up because you are no use to Bette if you start getting ill “
“I have to take antibiotics because of my closeness to Bette”
“Are you taking them ?”
“The nurse handed me a course last night “
“And ?”
“Yes I am taking them
– I don’t want to be ill – as you say I wouldn’t be any use to Bette if I end up in the hospital bed next to her”
“It will just be a precaution”
“Since when are you a nurse Helena ?”
“I went through a phase of dating trainee doctors do you remember ?”
“Yes I do “
Tina sat down and removed the sandwich from its plastic wrapper and started to eat it
“So do you want to tell me what is happening between you and her mom”
“I already have told you all that I can
– she seems to think that we should get in touch with Melvin”
“That is odd because I assume that she hates him more than Bette does”
“That was what I thought when she started to talk about him
– he is the piece of work that told Bette when she was little that her mommy didn’t love her which was why she left them – that lie repeated and repeated over the years is why Bette has always been a loner –that lie messed her up more than anything else. How on earth could anyone claim to care for their child and say the rubbish that he did to her – if I ever meet him it would be a short and painful meeting for him – I would wipe the floor with the old fraud”
“Maybe she just thinks that blood is thicker than water”
“Not in the case of her father “

Lovely update. They are so in tune with each other. Elizabeth should not have gone behind Rina’s back to ask Bette about melvin, she crossed the line there. Hope she leaves well enough alone but, something tells me she will not. Then the stuff will hit the fan and everyone is unhappy.
Glad Bette is getting better. I do hope that Elizabeth does not call Melvin. Happy that Bette and Tina have talked. Thank you Great Chapter!!!

Hi Ally, thanks for the update :-) I found this chapter is so heart warming, simply can feel the love between them and how palpable their connection is! So sweet!! :-) glad that Bette is better, though a bit hiccups in Tina-Elizabeth relationship is such a mood killer, especially because it is caused by Melvin! >_< anyway, looking forward to your next updates ;-)
