    Friday evening

    SOMETHING SO RIGHT

    Chapter 26

     

    Tina parked her car beside Bette’s facing her lover’s apartment. It was just after 6pm on Friday night. They were meeting the gang in Liquid at 7:30. Tina got out of her car and took a bag from the back seat and locked the car with a grin. She had some terrific news to share with Bette and with things all going her way her fears about Liquid were evaporating. She was still anxious but the by the time she had emerged from her lunch with her boss – the man who owned the company she was feeling pretty near invincible.

     

     

    So far she hadn’t told anyone her news – her first reaction had been to call Bette but she wanted to tell her lover in person. And then they could celebrate together in a very special way.

     

    Bette had left work early on Friday and as soon as she had got home she had gone for a run needing to burn off the stresses of the week and get herself mentally prepared for the weekend with Tina. As the week had drawn itself to Friday Bette had seen Tina’s anxieties go – the blonde was assured about their love. Bette loved Tina in a way that simply took her breath away. As Tina had grown more confident and bullish about the Liquid evening it was Bette who had grown anxious. What if she couldn’t stop her usual crowd of admirers from throwing themselves at her ? What if Bette couldn’t resist some hot chick who wanted Bette and didn’t know the meaning of the word NO ? Bette was worried about her own weakness – she didn’t for a second doubt her love for Tina.

     

     

    She knew that Tina was the woman that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. She knew – maybe she had known from looking at her that first night in Liquid that she was powerless against Tina – the blonde was her future. Bette wanted to spend the rest of her life loving Tina and working as hard as she could to make herself worthy of her. Bette didn’t know if she was capable of being in a committed and long term relationship – she just knew that she was 29 and hadn’t even got close to being able to sustain any relationship.

The hot, sticky and sexy loving is awesome but also the quiet, gentle and so telling moments just blow me out of the water. These gals have connected but are also part of a grown up and honest relatiosnhip. Your dialogue conveys the love that they are both a part of. Just adorable.
