Something so right – chapter 36
SOMETHING SO RIGHT
CHAPTER 36
Tina smiled across at Bette- they were having dinner together in a nice restaurant across town from their normal haunt. Tina was flying to San Francisco for the weekend to see her dad. He was in the area for a business meeting and Tina wanted to talk to him and tell him about her sexuality and all about Bette. She was nervous and wanted to spend time with Bette and just chat about her feelings. Both were dressed for the evening . Tina in a beautiful short black dress and Bette in a light grey trouser suit. Bette had managed to reserve a secluded table and was doing her best to relax Tina who was anxious about what she was going to be telling her father over the weekend
“Here’s to our four month as lovers anniversary “ Bette said raising a glass of champagne to Tina “I didn’t know anyth ing could make me as happy as you have- thank you so much Tina “
The blonde smiled at Bette
“I think that the gratitude should come from me – Bette -you have just given me so much in terms of love and an amazing physical relationship and stability. I have been a Senior Executive at Phoenix for a month now and there were times when I didn’t think that I would survive if I couldn’t come home to you and feel so safe and loved. Bette- my love for you grows stronger and more amazing every day – thank you “
Bette lent over the table and placed a soft kiss on Tina’s lips
“Tina – what we have is right”
Tina nodded “What we have is amazing. I love you “
“I love you more “
Bette took Tina’s hand and played with it for a few minutes
“You are nervous about the weekend “
It wasn’t a question – it was a statement of fact. Bette could tell that Tina was fearful.
“Am I doing the right thing ?” Tina said
“Do you feel that you aren’t ? if you don’t want to tell him “
Tina looked at Bette and saw that Bette would stand by whatever Tina decided. Tina shook her head

they are so cute together! omg tina now has to tell dad! :)
Hey Ally, thank you for this chapter, I feel for Bette she wants to have it all with Tee and take their relationship for the next level but Tee’s family might stand in the way, I’m not sure they can but it’ll affect them one way or another, so please make her dad as cool as she says he is. Post soon Hun.Have a great weekend
snapped!!!!! ha-ha-ha. Lets see how they handle this. At least T doesn’t have to go away for the weekend now. Maybe dady’s come to tell her that his reason for having been in Gaytown, USA…San Fran. is that he is gay and always has been…wouldn’t that be a turn up. How would T handle?????
Okay, Tina just must go for Plan C, right..wait, there is none. LOL. Great writing as always.
Haha…cat’s going to be out of the bag now…unless Bette’s going to hide in the bedroom all morning. I’m betting it will be a shock for him, but he’ll accept it. Please post again soon!
Yikes! What do we do know…..everybody RUN….PPS! I can’t believe Tina’s dad pulled a drop in. Should be an interesting morning for them all.
I wonder why Dadddy Kennard is in WeHo??? Hey Tina tell him and let the good times roll
Excellent little twist by bring Tina’s dad to town! Can’t wait to read more!
Ally, that was a brilliant chapter. I love how cute and in love Bette and Tina are and not they are going to have to talk to the Dad. I kind of hoped that Bette would be at least near by when Tina told him as I think if he sees Tina with Bette he will see how in love they are with each other.
Hey Ally, Great chapter. oh tell the guy to keep his Ark around cos there is more rain tom:)
Make Room for Daddy! As some of you may not be old enough to remember or live elsewhere, that was a 60s American sitcom starring Danny Thomas. Nice that Tina firmed up her decision before the choice was taken from her. So let’s see Dad’s true colors, cause you know, some hippies were hippes just to be able to indulge in sex and drugs without guilt. Nor were the guys neccesarily the most advance about womens’ lib. It took awhile of singing the musical question “how many miles must a man walk down” without confronting the assumption that the woman would be 10 paces behind. But I’m sure all will be well.
Hi Ally. I’ll swap you the rain for the wind that’s blowing here. Nearly blew my wig off. Great chapter. Happy Friday back to you. Take care.
Woah! *Joey from Blossom* The next chapter can’t come quickly enough. This is going to be interesting. Is there a back way out? Will Bette just hide in Tina’s room until she springs it on her father?
These two are so fvcking cute!!! Loved their soppy, romantic talk to bits!!! How will Tina’s parents react? I bet they won’t be totally sold in the beginning but they will eventually relent because they’re hippies and most likely, openminded. Thanks a lot for all the chapters you’ve posted since your self-imposed break. I’m really glad that you’re back.:> Here’s wishing you a smooth ride to Wellville, overflowing love, a double dose of happiness and heaps of inspiration for your creative writing. More power to you, Ally! Looking forward to the updates of your other stories. Cheers! :>
This is good and hope Tinas dad is ok about her and Bette!
