Bette:  He is more like me than I expected and yes he does have the Porter smile as well as the charm.  He has me completely wrapped around his little finger.

Tina: Like his mother I have a feeling he will charm any woman he meets.

Bette just looked at Tina.  Would you like something to drink Tina?

Tina:  Sure I will have whatever you are having?

I’m drinking water.  Is that okay?

Tina:  that’s fine.  It looks like you are all packed.

Bette handed Tina her glass of water.  Yes, I believe that I have everything.  Everything except D.

Tina:  Where are you living now, Bette.

Bette:  I am living in London.  I have my own gallery and auction house. 

Tina:  How long have you been there?

I have been in London since I left Tina.  I figure the farther away the better.

Tina: how did that work Bette?  Was it for the best?

Bette got up and began to pace the room. 

Its what I thought was needed at the time Tina.  Things were just so bad that I couldn’t stay here.  I hurt you and I am sorry for that but by doing so I also hurt our family.  I knew they would never forgive me so I ran.

Tina:  Bette, did you ever stop to think about what we wanted.  Your family?  We were mad Bette and it has taken a lot for us to get past it but we have.

Bette turned and looked at Tina. 

All of us Bette including me.  Especially me.  I understand Bette.  It has taken me a while to forgive you but I do. 

Bette:  You forgive me Tina?  How could you?

About that time there was a knock at the door.

That will be Shane and D.  Just a minute Tina.

Hey D!  Did you have a good time.  Bette knelt down and gave D a hug and a kiss.

Bette:  Was he good Shane?
