The journey to the restaurant was pretty quiet. Bette asked Tina a few questions about her photo shoot she’d worked at earlier in the day but not much else. They where both pretty much stuck for words and the tension in the car was thick.

Bette pulled the car up outside the restaurant and exited the vehicle. She walked around to the passenger side quickly to open the door for Tina to get out.

Tina smiled, beaming inside at how sweet Bette was. She knew there was something special about this woman. It wasn’t just the way she looked or the way she dressed in her designer suits and shoes, then again whatever Bette wore she would’ve looked phenomenal in, she could’ve worn rags and she would be able to look fabulous. It wasn’t just her magnetic charm and charisma. She was kind and she would listen to Tina, Eric didn’t listen to Tina and Alice, well, she was in her own little world but Tina liked her very much.

Then Tina’s phone started to ring…….

Tina – Oh its Alice……

Bette – Shit…..Oh I totally forgot that I told her and Shane that id meet them at the planet…maybe she’s looking for me…. Are you going to answer it?

Tina – You didn’t say you where meeting Alice or Shane before Bette?

Bette – Didn’t I?

Tina – Err no…you didn’t

Bette – Sorry Tina I don’t know where my head is at the moment

Tina – You know what Bette? I kinda feel like something’s going on and no ones telling me, your acting so strange.

Bette – There’s nothing going on Tina……..

Tina – Bette are you and Alice still…..well you know…..it’s just that…

Bette – Haha Tina seriously…I promise you there is nothing going on between me and Alice, I promise you that. The feelings I have for Alice are purely platonic..

Tina – I think im just making a fool of myself now, im sorry…

Bette – You have nothing to be sorry about………Shes calling me now, I better answer…do you mind?….

Tina – No you go ahead….
