“Hey boo, momma missed you” Bette kissed Angie on the cheek Angie babbled

“You’re almost…talking aren’t you?”

Angie babbled more

“Pretty soon we’ll be having some really meaningful conversations you and I huh?”

Bette laughed as Angie continued her baby talk

Bette walked into the bedroom she found Tina in one of her robes.

“Oh… let me get you some clothes”

“Hi Angie” Tina said excitingly

Angie got excited when she saw Tina she automatically reached for her.

Tina reached for Angie, looking at Bette first.

“May I?” Tina asked

Bette smiled

“Sure”

“Hey you Angie…how are you doing pretty girl?” Tina asked taking Angie from Bette’s arms

Angie babbled

“Oh hey she’s almost talking huh?’ Tina asked Bette

“Funny I was just saying the same thing” Bette said pulling out some clothes for Tina

“How come your so comfortable around kids? I mean I notice how your are with Angie, Miranda is pretty good with her too”

“We grew up surrounded by kids…my dad’s side of the family is full of children he has 3 brothers and 2 sisters and they all have kids we always had kids over for sleepovers and being that I was the oldest I always watched them.”

“Ahh” Bette said

“What about you? You have a big family?” Tina asked

“No just me and Kit…after my father passed it was only her and I…I mean we have aunts somewhere…but we’re not very close…Kit has a son named David but he’s all grown…he’s a Dr. lives in New York,  I never spent too much time with him when he was younger… Kit and I weren’t  very close growing up, she kinda left home at an early age…you know she was a singer she traveled lots, it wasn’t until I graduated and moved to California we became close really close.”

Bette reached for Angie.

“Let me take her, so you can get dressed I’m going to place in in the playpen for a while with her toys so I can shower real quick”

Tina smiled as she reached for the cloths and changed.

“Bette” Tina yelled as Bette rushed into the bathroom

“DO you mind if I raid your Kitchen maybe fix us something to eat?”

“No go right ahead, but I doubt if you’ll find anything”

Tina laughed

Walking by Angie’s room she leaned over an picked her up

“Hey you, how would you like to help me make some breakfast for your momma?”

Tina found a high chair and sat Angie down on it.

She looked through the cabinets and found oatmeal for Angie and coffee.

“Yes” Tina triumphantly said

She opened the refrigerator and saw 4 eggs, a couple of bottle waters, milk, a bottle of wine and cheese.

“This will work” Tina smiled at Angie

Tina prepared a couple of cheese omelets and brewed some coffee.

Bette finished her shower and changed into a similar pair of shorts and a T-shirt she walked into Angie’s room and found her not to be there she walked into the kitchen she stood at the door way…her heart began to beat faster as she saw Tina and Angie by the kitchen table eating Angie had a face of what looked like oatmeal and Tina was eating what looked to be to be an omelet. Bette stood by the entrance a little longer enjoying the sight in front of her.

Bette walked over she leaned down and kissed Angie on the head and then turned to give Tina a kiss on the cheek, Angie saw this and wacked Bette with a spoon full of oatmeal.

Tina couldn’t help but laugh, as Bette stopped stunned

“See I told you my daughter had a crush on you” Bette said laughing along while Tina used her napkin to wipe the oatmeal off Bette’s cheek.

“I made some coffee and a cheese omelet”

“Thanks” Bette said grabbing her food and her coffee she took a seat next to Tina and Angie, Bette was happy she never pictured this…sharing her home and Angie with anyone ever this… was almost too good to be true.
