Previously:
“Hey …” Bette came rushing after them, fully dressed, she smiled, her cheeks still bright red with embarrassment, “hey, wait up … I just wanted to say …”
Lottie stopped her, “It’s ok Bette,”
Bette rolled her eyes, “Yeah?”
Lottie grinned, “Yeah … see you Sunday,”
Bette smiled as she let them out, “Sunday,”
“What’s happening Sunday?” Jo asked, as she heard the door click shut behind,
Lottie followed her out to the car, “Bette’s taking me up to show me their beach house,” she paused, “apparently it needs some work doing and she wants to clear it out for the summer, and since you’re taking that silly, stupid French class all day,” Lottie continued, “I thought I might as well,”
Jo smirked, knowing the real reason she’s invented that ‘silly’ French refresher course, “That’s nice,”
Lottie nodded, urging her to get in the car, “Whatever,” she leant across the roof of the car, “just as long as you speak French to me when we’re in Paris, I don’t mind,”
Jo giggled, “Oui Mademoiselle,”
Summer Vacation – Chapter Forty Two.
Lottie flopped down on the bed in a huff, Banjo licking her hand in a way that signified he at least was pleased to see her, "Is everyone apart from us having sex right now?" she wailed, throwing her head back against the pillows in an exaggerated fashion,
Jo chuckled, "I’m not sure you can say Bette and Tina ‘and’ Alice and Helena are everyone …"
Lottie merely huffed in reply,
Downstairs in the kitchen, Alice composed herself, the look of sheer horror on her face settling,
Helena stood to her side, the bowl with warmed chocolate frosting still in her hand, neither of them said a word, neither one had since Lottie flounced back up the stairs in disgust declaring that she actually couldn’t decide which was worse, walking in on Bette or walking in on the two of them? Somehow the sight of Helena licking chocolate frosting off Alice’s naked breasts had her a little rattled,
Jo teased her still, "And you said *I* was a prude,"
"I’m not a prude …" Lottie grumbled, "I just think there’s a time and a place," she paused to lift her head and look at her girlfriend, standing matter of fact behind the closed bedroom door, she stared Jo directly in the eye, "we all ‘eat’ off that worktop!"

wow, sofa… What a treat with back-to-back posts! I don’t think I’ll be able to eat chocolate icing again without thinking of you… errr, your story… Fun chapter, always love the drunken gang. Poor Ang though, she’ll have plenty to discuss in her future therapy!! She’ll soon be hesitant to walk into a room without covering her eyes!
Jesus, you take a week’s vacation after waiting forever for someone to post the next chapter, which they do while you are gone (BRIEFLY!) and then you get left out of the shout outs. How soon they forget. Shuffles away with head bowed, sniffling.
Hello Sofa… ok to start off… think what you will but … hmmmmm… chocolate Icing and Helena doesn’t sound to bad… nor does vanilla or any other kind of icing… so yeah… more of that please… :P… I absolutely love this story… Everytime I read it… it feels like family… the way you weave the relationships is just magical… and just so special… I love absolutely Angie and how she wants Lottie to stay… that is just so precious… the bonding of their family is so strong that it hurts to think of them losing anyone of them… you are magical… and well I must say doing a kick ass job in the spotlight :P… hehe… lovely… love and hugs, JC

LOL! Tina is such a good Mom to all the girls. Poor Angie having to be woke up by the drunken Aunties, now she will have something to hold over them. I am so happy that I got to read this chapter before an emotionally taxing day ahead, thanks for the smile and laughs.
Bette and Tina are still the grown ups when it comes to the gang. Only Kit is more grown up than Bette and Tina. Loved how Angie is still freaking out about catching them enjoying one another. Hope that Lottie decides to stay longer than just the summer.

Great update! I love that…Bette sleeping through the whole swim in the middle of the night. Lucky that Tina heard them…they were all three sheets to the wind! I wouldn’t eat that cake either after seeing what Lottie did. LOL
