    Previously:

    “I want to talk about it now Tina!” Carmen refuted.  Bette could hear everything as she put her clothes from last night back on.  Her first session wasn’t until 11 but she had some other work to do.  Plus she really wanted to try to talk to Helena.

    “Now isn’t a good time Carmen for a couple of reasons.  One.  I have company and two. I’ve got to get to work.”   

    “Please meet me after my class so we can talk.”  Carmen starts yelling, “Is Bette Porter over here?  Huh?  Is that ***** over here?”  “*****,”  Bette thought.  “How did I get in this?”

    “Whoa, now.  There’s no need for that”    Tina said firmly.  Her voice instantly turned cold and uncaring “Since you’re having a little trouble understanding what I’m saying, let me rephrase it.  Get your ***** out of my house and  I will see you after my ***** class Carmen.”

    8.   The Golden Colored One (who brings healing)

     

    When Tina returned to her haven, Bette was sitting in the chair they had recently shared thinking about how good Tina made her feel.

    “Tina, I really need to get to work.  Lucky me.  Carmen is my first client today.”    Bette mused.

     

    Tina sat comfortably in the lotus position on the floor looking up at a rattled Bette.  “Would you like to meet me for dinner tonight?  I have a few clients coming to the studio at 6 so I’ll be free after 7 or so.  I’d like to see you later Bette.  I so enjoyed our time together last night and this morning.”

     

    “I don’t know Tina.  I’m starting to question what I’m even doing here with you.  The last thing I want is to be part of some ***** drama.”

     

    Tina was offended.  She had half the nerve to tell Bette where she could go, but resisted because first and foremost, she was in her haven.  Also, because this was a totally new experience for Bette. “She may just be lashing out” Tina thought. “She probably enjoyed herself so much that she’s confused by it.  She knows she wants more.  After all, who can resist me?” Tina laughed to herself.   After a minute, Tina replied “I understand.  The choice is yours.  Just let me know if you’re interested.  If I don’t hear from you by 7, I’ll take that as a no.  No worries Bette.”

    5. Wow! My computer blew up, causing me to be away from fan fic for a whole week, yet what a fun and entertaining surprise was waiting for me upon my return!! I am enjoying this story very much! Thanks!! Oh, and if you know of a yoga instructor like Tina, who is somewhere around the LA area…let me know, cause I am looking for one!!

      SO is anyone else noticing that tina is kinda like flipping a swicth?? She all granola and wholesome, but then you flip her and she’s the type to throw the brick in your cars window and then do some kind of praying for the health of your car??
      Greentea, I won’t have enough time to comment on each chapter and most likly it will only be on weekends but I want you to know I’m reading this story.

      I love how these Bette and wait… here it’s more like Tina and Bette =P have this sort of chemistry. I don’t really believe in the term “power balance” when it comes to relationships, but I guess it applies in this case. Anyway, the so called “power balance” is totally different from other fics and it shifts well between one character and the other. They are both setting the pace of their relationship, which is great and very rare in Bette/Tina fanfiction world.

      Oh, and don’t you just LOVE Carmen’s frequent interruptions? Whenever you see something other than “NC-17” in the rating area you just KNOW Carmen is going to pop up out of nowhere, like those inconvenient pop-up windows we get a lot on the internet… hehe

Tks for the chapter…again a saving grace for the night after miss chicki put it in the toilet…enough….I totally love the swing between these two, just when you have tina being alpha bang in comes bet. They show such strength and fear/uncertainty all in the same breath. It is a talent to write, your talented!!! Yes pls don’t make us wait, I’m hoping this story has, say, 150 chapters to it…it’s so easy to read what you write, I can’t imagine what your NC-17 stuff will be like…especially when you already have us totally into this story line…can’t say enough about it….patiently waiting…

      I always thought Tina had the potential to be stronger if not down right experimental – Is she into Tantric – will we get really L-O-N-G chapters?!

    29. Ok so I’ve never been much of a ‘tea’ person but now, I look for a daily dose! Loving this…it’s helping to calm my somewhat frayed nerves from another story…we all know who I’m refering to.
      Well continue as you have. I’d love to see a greater play by hel for bette’s affection. Not that I want them together but, I think it would make it more realistic. If Helena is woman enoguh to fight for what she wants, she should give tina a run for her money!
