    Lunch with Shane, Alice and Tina

    Chapter 3

     

    Three weeks had gone by and Bette was very happy with the way her office was running, The Agency was right Tina was very bright and hard working, and to Bette’s surprise made the best coffee she had ever had.  Bette was impressed by how quickly Tina adapted to the office and its surroundings it was almost like Tina had been working there for years instead of only weeks.

    As usual when Bette walked into her office Tina was already there.

    “Good morning Bette, here’s your coffee, all your messages on your desk the photographer called and he needs the approval or needs to know of any changes you wish to have on the cover shoot before the end of the day today or has going to send them to print the way they are.”

    “Before, I forget your pant suit for tonight is hanging on your bathroom door, the driver will pick you up out front at exactly 7:30pm”

    “Tina, what about my tickets?”

    “They are being sent over via courier even as we speak” replied Tina with a smile

    “Something’s different about you today Tina, I can’t put my finger on it”

    “Yeah, I uh got my braces taken off yesterday.” Tina said with a huge smile

    Just as Tina gave Bette the biggest smile she could, Bette felt her heart skip a beat for some reason seeing Tina smile made Bette very happy.

    As Bette returned Tina’s smile with a smile of her own Tina thought she would just faint, for two weeks now she had dreamt about Bette Porters smile.  Tina felt the heat rise up to her cheeks and knew she was probably blushing like a school girl she quickly turned towards the door to make an exit before she embarrassed herself.

    Tina paused turned around and said

    “Will you need anything else Bette?”

    “No Tina, Thank You”

    “Just doing my job” Tina said as she exited the office.

    Tina sat back in her chair and tried to compose herself what was going on with her lately, she couldn’t sleep barley ate and all she could think about was Bette Porter, Tina found herself often daydreaming about her mocha skinned boss, at first she thought it was because she was impressed by Bette’s work ethic and power she admired Bette’s drive and determination.  The more Tina found herself thinking of Bette the more she realized she was developing a major crush on her boss.

    1. Something tells me Tina is going to ask Alice to help her with a makeover! I can see it now–Tina’s going to come in Monday morning with a brand new look and it will make Bette take notice!! Catherine who?? LMAO I love this story. Don’t keep us waiting long for an update! PPS

Man what a heart wrenching story Tina told…and I think Tina is mega jealous of Catherine, but worry not; I get the feeling no matter how sexy Catherine is, Bette only had eyes for one woman…Tina! Bet she’ll finally realize it tonight while she’s out with Catherine. PPS can’t wait to see what you’ve got in store for us.

    5. I dont like Catherine. Like Tina said, she does what she can on the limited income. How many of them has worked two jobs and still the head of her class>If Tina had the money she would realy know how to dress. She clean,had the money to have braces put on,she eat frugely and now has a beautiful smile and the glasses are next. Her family is missing out on a wonderful person That is who we should feel sad for, they have and will miss so much Thanks so much

    10. She didn’t notice her jacket cause she was only looking at her eyes and her breasts!!! Tina’s story was heartbreaking, but I have a feeling Bette will be making her feel much better very soon, right? Great chapter, PPS.
