The art of living # 1

The blonde decided to wait for her meeting at the museum. The producer was tired and all she really was some peace and a long bath after the daily marathon she had been facing. Produce movies aren’t an easy job but Tina loved the seventh art and she believed she cooperated artistically to the final result of an art piece and for that she could say she was happy.

The executive decided to wait and have a calm afternoon, but at the moment, Tina was having much more fun then she expected.

The young child called the adult closer. They seamed to be mother and child.

    “Is this also Pollock, mom?”

    “Yes, darling…”

“I like the way he painted.”

    “Why dear?”

    “I like the colors…”

    “And…”

    “It’s…It’s…It’s… not something…hmmm… light like Kan… Kan…

    “Kandinsky?”

“Yeah…The one over there…This is …I don’t know, mom…Heavy and dark. It seems something bothered him…”

The child extended her arms and the adult suspended her.

“And what is mixed with the colors, mommy?”

“Pollock used to mix sand or broken glass to the paints to get the effect he wanted, dear…”

    “Oh…”

The child and the mother got closer and observe the piece with carefully. They walk to the next art piece, but the kid wanted to come back to the last one.

    “I like his work…”

“Ok…Next Sunday we can paint the way he used to do. How about that?”

“It will be cool! But… how he used to paint?”

“He put the unscratched canvas on the floor, get the paints and anything he thought it would be ok to paint, walk around and over the canvas…”

    “He stepped on the canvas?”

“Yes, babe… and he let his feelings talk. Pollock do what we call action painting, which paint is not carefully applied, but spontaneously dribbled… splashed …”The beautiful lady began to tickle the curled red haired girl with sweet freckles “…or smeared…” And the mocha woman rubbed the young girl’s belly. “…onto the canvas.” The girl laughed out loud.

    “Wow!”

    “Yeah…WOW!”

““Mom…Can we see some movie about his work?”

    “Sure, dear…”

Christina watched amused their interaction. They have been talking about art and what senses the art pieces brought to the little girl. The mother, the gorgeous mocha lady, let the child spoke and offered, here and there, some explanation and remarks, but nothing too technical, about the works.

    1. Ok Ok, I love these Bette and Tina beginnings but this one is refreshing. Meeting in a museum but under completely different circumstances and with Mother Bette. Ok and how old is this kid who is hooking her mom up. So cute!

    2. Hi, Braz! What a different and refreshing new B&T beginning! We loved the interaction between mother and daughter. Hmm… It’s great that Mimi is playing cupid, here! This story is good, Braz. Absolutely. PPS Hugs and kisses on both your cheeks. Lucero & Marsha (Latin JC’s Salsa Aunties)
