    Bette and Tina have lunch…

    «My God, what a beautiful painting!», Patty said. «Who sent it to you?». Before Tina had a chance to hide the card in her purse, Patty snatched it up and read it. «Hey that’s none of your business!», Tina yelled at her, trying to get the card back.

    Patty’s eyes widened when she saw the signature. «Bette Porter sent you this? Gosh, Tina, you better be careful around that woman. I think that dyke has her sight set on you…», Patty warned her.

    «Will you stop using that word? Do you have to be so hateful?», Tina asked as she finally grabbed the card and put it in her purse.

    «Why are you defending her ? Is she your girlfriend?», Patty asked suspiciously.

    Tina rolled her eyes in exasperation. «You’re so full of it sometimes, Patty… No she’s not my girlfriend. I have a boyfriend, remember?»

    «Just make sure YOU remember it when you’re around that dy…oops, sorry Bette Porter», Patty stated sarcastically before walking away.

    Tina took a few moments to regain her cool after her confrontation with Patty and then she called Bette on her cell phone.

    Bette sultry voice came on the line. «Hello?».

    «Bette, it’s Tina. I just got the painting and I can’t accept it…», Tina said.

    «Why not? I thought you liked it», Bette told her, not at all phased by Tina’s cool tone.

    «That is not the point Bette and you know it…»

    «What is the point then?», Bette asked softly.

    God, she wouldn’t make this easy for Tina. «The point is that I can’t accept gifts from people I write articles about. It’s against my ethics as a journalist», Tina explained.

    «What about gifts from friends ? Are they against your ethics too?»

    Tina could tell by the tone of Bette’s voice that she was amused by the whole thing. «This is serious Bette, I could lose my job»

    «Then don’t tell anyone», she replied, softly laughing.

    Tina sighed. Bette had an answer for everything… «You send this big package to my work place, of course someone will notice», Tina said, thinking of Patty.

    «Where else could I send it ? I don’t even know where you live…», Bette explained.

    «This must have cost a fortune», Tina replied, giving Bette yet another argument why she shouldn’t have done a thing like this.

    1. Poor Bette, its not like her to be tripping over herself. She needs to come up with a better plan. Maybe Tina’s blind date will cancel and since Bette doesn’t really have one they could just go out together. Tina’s co-worker, someone please just slap her upside her head. Looking forward to the next update.

LMAOOOOO … Bette, how could you be so stupid ?!! couldn’t you hit the nail on the “Tina’s type”, with humour ? or find an excuse to invite Tina BEFORE her blind date, so it would not happen at all ?…… anyway, I would agree to come with you on your double date, but I fear I’m not your type ;-) Now, you’ve got to find something to get out of this trap… good luck ;-)

    15. Excellent update. Thanks for that Milady. Eric’s gone… YEAH!!! Now, a date for Bette… make it someone really good. ‘Cause you Tina will be as jealous of Bette’s date as Bette will be of Tina’s. And I agree with the others, lets hurt Patty…BAD! PPS.
